The staff are welcoming and recognise me from previous visits. They are friendly and put up with my terrible Spanish. Everybody I interact with is great but Africa is particularly smiley - as is the chap who has worked in the bar for years. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the shower is always good. My daughters live in Huelva and stay with us when we visit - the hotel has always accommodated a second room nearby or adjoining. It is close to their home, close to the town and great value for money. My daughters enjoy staying there too.

My children not living in Huelva would be great - it’s not a city you would visit unless you had to. I have to say that in the 20+ years I have been visiting it has got better - much cleaner, better choice of places to eat etc - but still very little entertainment for families other than Aqualon for bowling or Holea for shopping. The hotel is always consistently good though. The only thing I would change is keeping the bar open for residents past 11pm as it completely shuts.

The rooms are noisy because the sound travels up from the reception area. Bed was comfortable, sheets and towels changed every 3 days. The decor and furnishings are very dated. Water in fridge only provided on first night. One lift was not working, the other took a very long time to arrive. I had problems every day with the access card to my room. Yes, there are also stairs but not possible for me to use. Stains on carpets, dead spider on bathroom ceiling. The staff were friendly and helpful, thank-you in particular to the lovely barman who remembered my order and also the reception guy with the pink tie who helped me.

The Hotel was beautiful, lovely foyer and recreation areas, our room was spacious, immaculately clean and comfortable bed. The area was clean and quiet with restaurants very close as there was no dining on site, only breakfast. The receptionists were helpful and courteous.

The very narrow door and walls and parking bays, only a small car would be able to fit in that whole area, however there seemed to be parking areas close by. We managed to park there but it was not easy and the staff did say that only small cars would fit in.

The hotel is in a good location, with lots of restaurants nearby. It’s a new-ish (~30 years?) building and had all the modern amenities. It’s right on a major intersection and our room was on the back-side, but there was some early-morning traffic noise, but it wasn’t bad. The room was an OK size, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was a good size and fully updated. Wifi/internet were good. Getting to the hotel is straightforward and they have paid parking although the checkin person advised us the spaces are very tight and referred us to a garage about 2 minutes walk away (by Telpark).The staff were extremely helpful and speak good english. Breakfast was standard offerings plus some extra things, all very tasty and freshly prepared.

With a warm welcome on arrival, our King room was comfortable and included a fridge with two complimentary bottles of water. The air con was very effective and the bathroom was excellent with a powerful shower. We enjoyed the on site cafe for a perfect, inexpensive, light breakfast and with a most helpful and welcoming staff. The location is ideal, with all attractions within walking distance and the hotel is good value. We viewed the garage parking and used it for all our stay both for convenience and reasonable cost. Yes, the access has tight bends (we had a Toyota Corolla and saw an Audi A3 also parked) but with a friend for guidance and a little manoeuvring, we managed just fine; no scrapes!

Have to mention the excellent service of Srta. Rocio at the front desk, as we wanted to extend our stay by one day, Srta. Rocio was so kind and found the perfect solution for offering us an extra day, that considering the hotel was fully booked, we had the privilege of enjoying Huelva one additional day, for a small additional cost. I would like to mention also Srta. Maite was very kind when we checked in, and she gave us a lot of beneficial information regarding Huelva., Do not use the Hotel parking as is very difficult to park, much better if you park your car a few meters away where you will find a public parking, on the very same street, for 16.80 per day. Enjoy Huelva!

Huelva is a beautiful city and El Rompido is a splendid beach, worth visiting.

We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist. When we asked about parking and told the price we were offered a room upgrade that included the parking fee, a bottle of Cava and some fresh fruit, all for about 20 Euros per night extra. The room was superb, a large lounge area with a dining table, separate bedroom and a bathroom. There was a Nespresso machine and a kettle with tea & coffee. Breakfast had an excellent choice. There was a cafe associated with the hotel where there are light meals & drinks. The hotel is a short walk from the main town.

The car park had spaces for bigger vehicles but a difficult access. However, the walls & corners were heavily padded to minimise the risk of damage. Our windscreen was washed whilst it was parked.

We upgraded to a suite for 35€ per night which gives you access to the hotel parking (local car park 17€ per night) we also got cava and fruit delivered to our room. All of the staff were pleasant and friendly. Everywhere in the hotel was spotless. We left some belongings in the wardrobe when we left. I contacted the hotel and said if I arranged a courier to collect they would package the items for me. I arranged it and received the package the next day. All in all a great hotel and would be happy to return.

The room was spacious and had everything I needed. I loved there was a mini fridge, kettle and cups to make myself coffee and tea. Good quality furniture and design. Big desk I worked at with my laptop. Nice lamps and armchair. The bed was comfortable. All looked clean and neat.

I found pillows too high for my taste, I could have asked staff for a plainer pillow but I didn't. Everything was very clean apart from the floor, I would suggest vacuuming it properly even below the beds. And, I found the indirect lighting too bright, I didn't manage to set warm indirect lighting to chill at night. Apart from that, everything was very good. I recommend it.

The adjoining room was perfect for travelling with 2 small children. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and secure. Staff were very polite. Check out was at 12 noon which was great. The location was central and we easily walked to all the major sites in central Huelva. There is also a public playground just across the road for the kids to play. We would stay again!

The car park was very difficult to manoeuvre into, even with our small car, and cost €15. On a positive note, there were staff available to help guide cars out if needed and there was a sign at the entrance to the car park warning about the access. The staff also let us keep our car there a bit longer after check out which was kind. It would be good to mention the difficulty with the car park more clearly in the description of the property.
