This is a charming small hotel in the village of Buera in the heart of the Somontano wine region. Our room was decorated with various prints and photos and objets d'art, quite delightful, and the bed was comfortable. Behind the hotel is a secluded terrace where you can enjoy an apéritif with a view over the village and nearby hills. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly dinner in the restaurant, if you read other reviews, you'll see that most visitors agree. The restaurant is lit by candlelight, there's a wood fired grill and the meal, a series of small taster dishes paired with local wines was delicious. Bravo Bruno! Highly recommended!

The accommodation in the Posada is basic but clean and there was a lovely lounge area to relax, and safe parking for our motorbike nearby. The absolute highlight of our stay was the fabulous dinner we had at the associated restaurant La Lalola. Both the Posada and the restaurant are run by Bruno. The Restaurant is exceptional in every way. Gentle jazz music playing in the background and just 5 candlelit tables make it a very welcoming and intimate experience. There is no menu, Bruno serves a series of fabulous tasters all made by him with fresh ingredients. He serves them himself together with an explanation of the dish and if you like, he will also recommend suitable wines to accompany your meal. We had a very memorable and enjoyable evening and Bruno was the perfect host! (For any Brits visiting, you may be interested to know Lalola was mentioned in The Guardian!) I highly recommend The Posada Lalola.. for us it has been one of the major highlights of our trip.

This small characterful village inn is more like staying in someone’s house than a hotel. The rooms are charmingly furnished with multiple and varied pictures adorning the walls. The views from the back garden are lovely and the peace and quiet broken only by birdsong and an occasional tractor. The restaurant is fantastic- simple breakfasts but amazing dinners from the imagination of Miguel Angel who is host, chef and waiter and a charming and modest one at that. The restaurant, gently lit and full of mementos and photographs, is atmospheric We loved it and are planning our return Amazing value for money.

A really minor issue - bottom sheets need to be bigger (or their edges deeper) to stay on the mattress

Everything about this hotel was excellent, the village is quiet and beautiful, the Posada is very tastefully furnished and comfortable. Peaceful and luxurious. The absolute must is to eat in Brunos kitchen, he is a very talented chef and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable evening....I could not fault anything.

The location is in a very small, quiet farming village. Very quaint. The owner was very responsive on messaging after booking. The windows have screens on them so you can leave them open at night to let the cool air in without all the bugs.

There isn't any AC but the ceiling fan in the room was super helpful.

The rural location, the quirky room and restaurant, lovely garden/terrace and friendly staff. Unfortunately didn't meet Bruno due to a family emergency but he contacted me privately on WhatsApp offering advice on places to eat and visit. Certainly went above & beyond.

Nothing to dislike.

Comfortable room in quiet village house. Ambience was relaxed although all rooms occupied. Everyone sitting in the garden having drinks before dinner. The meal was exceptional and the host delightful.

Maybe more natural lighting in the room. Great value for money but the dinner was fabulous at any price.

The owner Miguel was absolutely great. And Bruno was more than helpful by suggesting various options for dinner in nearby towns as, unfortunately, the restaurant was closed.

The hotel was comfortable and quiet with lots if interesting decorations. The restaurant was above my expectations and the food was excellent. Most of all the host was very friendly and helpful.

Bruno was an exceptional host. We enjoyed an amazing meal in his restaurant from his garden to our plate, nice wine and great company. Beds were comfortable rooms were quirky and the vine covered terrace was a delite.
