Excellent breakfast and refreshment availability

There was a 20 Euro per day parking charge - not mentioned in the booking information. This was particularly galling when, after two nights parking, we went back to the car to find it plastered with the foulest pigeon shit and drops of resin from the broken pine tree resin. This required a good hours dedicated hand cleaning to preventing us incurring charges from the hire car company.It was so sticky/tacky that a trip to a car wash would not have done the job.

We booked with breakfast included, and it was a pleasant surprise how great it was. Secondly, it's perfectly located in front of the beach.

They could use some hospitality training at the front desk. The woman literally "shooed" us away as we waited to check in, and demanded we not stand near her or the front desk. So, we and a few other guest just queued on the little ramp in the lobby while she appeared to be holding a counseling session for an extensively looooooong time with a guest. We finally asked if we could leave our luggage and come back to which she replied, "just leave them there" in the lobby, for just anyone to take? Very odd, rude and unsecure.

The property was amazing - the location was right on the beach, the decor was tres chic and like you were staying at the coolest person you know beach house. Also had a lot of nice touches like coffee, still and sparking water and a little snack at the lounge on each floor. Staff, (especially the lovely woman at the front desk during the day) were super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was great - breakfast is not to be missed. It was fantastic.

The property was perfect.

We loved the breakfast. The restaurant would have needed a bit more staff / more experienced staff to ensure tables were cleared from dishes and set for new guests. The freshly squeezed orange juice was excellent but kept running out and the last day there was non.

Our room did not have a safe. Each floor had coffee machines and some snacks which is nice but coffee ran out and was not replaced, dishes accumulated.

This hotel is very comfortable, but you need to choose the right room, such as the suite. The other rooms are very small and expensive in comparison. The location of the hotel is excellent, right in front of the beach, and the hotel does offer private parking. The breakfast is excellent, the hotel restaurant is average, but there are plenty of restaurants all around. The staff members are professional and very friendly.

This town is expensive, so if you're thinking of visiting on a budget, it's not the place to go! The sound of the waves at night can be tiresome, but what can one do about it? Apart from the beach, there is very little to do if you don't want to drive.

Fantastic location and fun style in the picturesque beach town of Llafranc. Little coffee/snack stations on each floor were a nice touch. And the staff was super friendly and helpful.

Normal double rooms are a bit small. And the restaurant food nothing special. No minibar in the small doubles. And no safes in the bedrooms.

Stayed in the rooms with the private pools and view of the beach. Hotel is great, the food was excellent and all the staff went above and beyond to ensure that you would exceed the expectation of Hotel Isabella. Great restaurants in the area and Llafranc is a beautiful and relaxing town.

The only thing is I went during the cold weather would of loved if the private pool was heated. In the summer time I can see where this wouldn't be an issue.

Location, right on beach. Breakfast was excellent as was dinner in evening. Really enjoyed our time overall and very relaxing, with exception of some late night and early morning noise from within hotel.

Room 101 at top of a stairwell that leads to bar and dining area. First few nights this was open resulting in a lot of noise form these areas late at night and early in morning. There was a door which was closed on some nights which helped.. Some staff a bit inexperienced leading to inconsistent service. In room coffe/tea making facility would be nice to have.

beach and town are lovely, hotel's interior design is charming and the branding is carried throughout nicely, the restaurant and food is really good-breakfast is included with the room, and we also ate lunch there one day. The meal was excellent. Staff is very helpful and kind and provided good recommendations for dining options nearby and fun things to do. Walking right out to the beach daily was great. If you can afford it, I would reco a room with a balcony that faces the beach. We stayed here on two separate occasions during our latest trip to the costa brava (thus the 2 reviews), and stayed in two room types (partial ocean view and ocean view). The upgrade was worth it. The little refreshment station in the common area of each floor was lovely and you could refill your water bottle with filtered water as well as get coffee and tea (and cookies) whenever you wanted. It was a great option for coffee since we woke up early before breakfast was available. Also, the town of Llafranc couldn't be more lovely. I would love to stay here again.

We visited in late June and it was really warm but the central AC didn't cool the room down effectively. Also, b/c the hotel was new, I think they were working a few kinks out-eg they ran out of creamers in the coffee stations, as well as coffee cups. I understand why there isn't a pool available, but still would have been nice to have that option.

we went for a partial ocean view, and the room was nice but a little small. This is a boutique hotel that is thoughtfully designed and the attention to detail is appreciated. The location can't be beat right on the beach in LlaFranc, and close to the hike to Calella. Breakfast was lovely with many options and the refreshment stations on the landings of each floor was genius (access to water, coffee, etc)

We were there in summer and we found the air conditioning to not be as strong as we would have liked and we were hot. They said it couldn't be turned down further. That said, we still went back for a second visit at the hotel.
