Beautiful boutique hotel right in the town centre of Palafrugell, with very comfortable bed and duvet for restful sleep at night! The hotel gave us a list of recommended restaurants, and it was lovely to be able to walk to dinner then return to the hotel for rest. Car park was secure and within a short walking distance from the hotel. Friendly and excellent hosts gave us a tour of the hotel and explained the rich history of how the building we stayed in evolved through the ages. If you have a car, the nearby coastal village of Llafranc and medieval towns of Pals are a short drive away. Top tip is to stay in Palafrugell over the weekend, as the Sunday market was impressive and it was lovely to see the locals out and about doing their shopping.

I highly recommend it. The hotel is beautiful, it had a great holiday feel. The staff was very friendly and provided great recommendations about the area. We felt welcome. The room was great, ours didn’t have any view, but it was cozy and the bathroom was beautiful. Facilities also offered some nice open spaces to enjoy. We loved the terrace and its city view.

The location isn’t bad but you need to be prepared to drive everywhere. The town itself is fine, but all the points of interest are at a driving distance. Breakfast was very healthy, but not very tasty. For a family trip the bathroom door is very transparent 😅

Absolute hidden gem - amazing discrete in Village location - gourmet breakfast - helpful staff on local transport/restaurants/attractions. Beautifully appointed rooms and shared lounge areas. Plenty of extra pampering treats like Caldrium.

Challenging to get to location without car or after hours. Has available bus or taxi service to Girona. Reliant on local buses running 30 mins to hourly for beach locations.

Hosts Lourdes and Alfred were wonderful, always helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. They completed renovations to open the hotel just over a year ago and did a fabulous job. The building is simple elegance. Our room was super comfortable. We had a rental car to visit the surrounding area and they provided convenient parking in a garage just down the street. They have a caldarium (small hot pool in a private room) which we reserved and thoroughly enjoyed. We only ate breakfast at the hotel twice in our week stay because we like to try everything when we travel. The breakfast Lourdes served was excellent. When we return to the Costa Brava, Can Mascort will be our home!

A hidden gem in la Costa Brava, the hotel itself is beautiful, the room very comfortable and spacious even at the lower end rooms, and especially the staff were very welcoming. It felt like a home away from home and will definitely visit again!

One thing to take into account (which was not a problem for us!) is that the use of the pool comes at an extra cost.

Everything was wonderful! The breakfast is very thoughtful, and the staff is very warm and friendly (and helped me practice my Catalan as well!)

I didn't realize that the thermal bath in the hotel isn't included with your stay, the additional price was also not so clear to me from the information that I read in the hotel and on the website.

I booked very late following a family death so hadn't read the details properly. It would have been nice to have a clearer walk around as I didn't know there was a roof terrace or upstairs lounge area. Breakfast was good but repetitive and expensive. The cost (around €1000 for four nights) suggests high end so it was disappointing that we weren't offered fresh towels (had to request them on day 4) and that sheets were never changed - I'm sure this is linked to the eco-values but not really acceptable during a heatwave. Bathroom was very small. The only mirror was the one above the sink.

Beautiful property, wonderfully restored. We felt calm as soon as we walked in the door. The original pharmacy is amazing. The room was lovely, comfortable, spacious and airy with beautiful decor and high ceilings. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful, really lovely. Breakfast was absolutely delicious.

We would have liked to have been able to use the caldarium but this was an extra cost which I felt could have been included.

Palafrugell has not as much charm as let’s say Begur.

Very comforting atmosphere and stylish ambiente, absolutely supporting and welcoming owners, clean rooms, delicious breackfast, amasing rooftop terrace for morning coffee .. and even healthy 30-40 min. walk to the beach ... we enjoyed every day of our unfortunatly short stay. great thanks))
