This accommodation is right in the city center, directly on the Camino Primitivo route. We had a clean room with curtains for privacy and individual chargers at each bed — a definite plus. The space includes a small kitchen, a bar, a spacious terrace, and a laundry area in the courtyard. Other than that, everything was fine. Thank you for the stay!

The only downside was the young staff — communication wasn’t always smooth, and many of them were regularly smoking on the terrace, which wasn’t ideal.. + washing machines were a bit worn out, but they did the job.

Loved the bed cubbies with their own power outlet, light, and curtain. The key card access to the Albergue and your room was also nice. The location was great - there was a hidden pocket (street) of restaurants close by that can be easy to miss as well as the main street being a short walk. Plenty of air drying space to hang dry clothes and a nice yard to relax They had a bar/restaurant, but I didn’t try the food/breakfast.

It would be helpful if there were washing bins or plugs for the sinks to hand wash clothes. Also, I didn’t see a pool which I saw photos of in Booking (and from 2-4yr reviews/photos on Google Maps), but I wasn’t really looking for it.

Fixed beds with curtains. Breakfast option from 6.30am. Right on the Camino, a few minutes from town centre.

Bathrooms were downstairs in main reception area, and there were not very many of them. There were restrictions on when the kitchen could be used. They advertised a pool, but this was not actually available to the hostel, only the pension next door. This was not made clear when booking and is very misleading.

Dorm beds with light, plug, curtain, lockers, spacious room. Full kitchen. Literally along the Camino route.

Can't check in till 1pm (I had to wait an hour in a nearby church as it was rainy). The toilets/showers are on floors 0 and 3 but dorms are on floors 1 and 2. The kitchen is not available in the morning so you can't make your own breakfast (the albergue offers breakfast).

The location was central to the old quarter, though on a quiet side street. The rooms were securely accessed by way of an issued key card. There is a spacious lawn with comfortable lounge furniture. I used the kitchen to make a simple meal. The accommodations and pricing were great.

The only less than optimal aspect of this albergue is that while the staff were hard working and efficient, they were not welcoming or friendly. I think that is sometimes a hard balance to pull off.

Great location right along the Camino. Was pouring when I was there but there's a nice garden and my 1st floor room had a deck. Light, plug and curtains for each bed--and warm duvet. Bathrooms on ground and 3rd floors only. We'll equipped kitchen plus limited meal service available.

Only opens at 13:00-- I spent an hour hiding from the rain in the nearby church. 12:00 noon opening would be appreciated. Also, the kitchen is not available in the morning--very inconvenient :-(

Very kind reception. Comfortable beds in small rooms with bed curtains for privacy and bedlights. Gluten free options available for breakfast. Very central location in Melide. They accomodated my request of a lower bunk bed and were very available with helping me with that.

I was not given a blanket, which made the night very cold. The lack of a 24/7 reception may be a problem for who gets there very early or late. Just one washing machine and dryer.

Very clean and has everything you need - perfect for pilgrims and travellers. Beautiful garden with lounge chairs where you can relax while waiting for your laundry to dry. Offers access to an outdoor pool which is the perfect respite for pilgrims! All bunks in the dorms have their own privacy curtain which helps sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I really liked the back yard - it was a relaxing place to spend the afternoon in a deck chair. The breakfast was delicious. I had tostada con tomate and zumo.

It was my first experience with a key card required to enter the bedroom and I locked myself out after getting up to use the bathroom at night. Fortunately, someone in the room was awake and let me back in, which was very kind of them. It was embarrassing to disrupt the sleep of my bunkmates by knocking on the door.

One of the best albergues I’ve stayed at. It was right down the street from the historic city center and it was super clean, super updated, and they had more amenities than I was expecting! Gluten free breakfast was great, and we got a locker for us our stuff that we could get for a deposit for 1€ and then got back at the end.

There was no hot water in the showers but it wasn’t terrible!
