Fabulous apartment (we chose the deluxe with hot tub). We hadn’t realised that we also had a jacuzzi bath, plus shower - and a separate shower room. The outside hot tub was pure luxury. The apartment was super well equipped with plenty of towels and bath robes. Breakfast at the Safari restaurant was outstanding (we stay away a lot in Spain and this was one of our tops). A choice of cooked breakfasts (full English, smashed avocado with poached eggs, and salmon with scrambled eggs). An extensive buffet of cold meats, cheese, salad, bread, fruits and yoghurt etc Despite it being the week before Christmas, we enjoyed a dip in the outdoor heated swimming pool and sat in the sunshine taking in the beautiful gardens and surrounds.

We were only there for two nights and our stay was perfect as there is a bar and restaurant on site. However, if you were staying longer, it is too far to walk to local towns and restaurants. I’m sure you can take taxi’s backwards and forwards - but whilst the complex is self contained, we would generally prefer to stay somewhere where we can walk to and experience local bars and restaurants.

Apartment is quite nice. Cormfy bed and nice siza.

No privacy on your jacuzzi area, no separation between neighbours on outside area. We could see both our neighbours beside us.. also no roof over the jacuzzi so higher floor rooms have direct sight to your jacuzzi.

Facilities are really good. The heated pool was really nice. The apartment was great. Well-maintained, lots of greenery, good ambience, family friendly. No strict rules in the pool. Everyone having a good time and encouraging fun. The showers were good, there was a jacuzzi tub that was great, and the hot tub was also good. Staff was available to clean up the hot tub. Pool timings are from 9am to 6pm. The main pool is heated, the other two pools can be cold depending on the weather. The bedrooms have electric blackout shutters, so can make them dark for night. The heating and cooling systems are good.

Minor things to know: The grocery shop closes quite early at 5pm and has a small selection of items. The TVs are not smart ones.

Lovely resort style accommodation, very clean and comfortable

Check in was at 4pm and check out at 10am with a knock on the door from cleaning staff at 10am on the dot. If check in is so late check out should not be so early, its 6 hours difference and means on the day you get there you lose most of the day and the day you leave its an early start to be out on time.

We had room with hot tub outdoors, it was really nice as the weather wasn’t the best during our stay. There was one heated pool (approx +25c water) in the premises too. The view to the sea was also nice. Kitchen had all the necessary, and our room included also bathrobes.

We were missing toilet paper and the man in the reception said we should go and buy it more ourselves :( we had paid over 100eur per night, toilet paper should be always available :( The bed in master bedroom wasn’t that good, i preferred sleeping in the sofa-bed :/

We stayed for 3 nights Arrived late 9th June Checked out 12th June The apartment was great for a family. we bad a 2 year old , great space in it for all 3 of us. Pool area sun loungers were great .Our little one loved it!!! All staff we met along the way were lovely and very friendly Went to Mediterraneo Restaurant on our last night was so nice all staff accommodating and so lovely We would return in future if the check in was less confusing and there more supermarket amenities ,( otherwise we would plan a different shop in aldi) as the kitchen in the apartment is handy and we would definitely utilise more

on the booking the maps brought us to our apartment ( which had a guest services area but not for check in) but we were greeted by porters in which we then had to drive back( follow the porters as it was late and dark and didnt where we wer going) to the main reception and check in, to then go and follow the porters back to our apartment. This was very unsettling while dark as we didn't know the area and we had a small child with us! We had been flying and travelling since 10 am that morning and check in was very confusing/frustrating. The holiday shop below at guest services was a bit on the small idea to grab essentials. Could do with more of a mini supermarket in the area to make it easier for families.

We stayed in April for 5 days. The 2 bedroom apartment is incredibly large - exceeded expectations! The facilities in the room are also very good. Our apartment was next to the pool & safari restaurant for breakfast & dinner so that was very convenient. The resort & restaurant staff were very efficient and welcoming. Food served in the restaurant is to a very good standard. The resort is approximately slightly outside of any towns so you need a car or to use taxis which we liked as we did not want to be inside any busy towns. The resort is however only a short taxi journey to main areas such as mijas pueblo, fuengirola, Cala de Mijas - all within or under 15 mins by car.

There wasn’t anything to dislike. It really is a beautiful resort. But if you like to style your hair I would recommend taking a hairdryer as ‘the built’ hairdryers in bathroom are not very efficient or hot. This wasn’t a big issue for us but for some this may be a consideration!

We dealt with a lot of staff during our stay and every single one of them was utterly charming, friendly, willing to help and acted immediately on any request. That makes SUCH a huge difference. The place itself is idyllic. Suffused with palms, immaculate landscaping all over, pools galore, abundant sun-loungers, and a coastline to match or even exceed that of the French Riviera. The setting alone, and the view from the balcony on waking worked better than medicine. That alone sets the scene for the day. Every day. Gorgeous. The sea in front and the mountains behind provide masses of places to visit. The 'Pueblos' in the hills are just stunning and the markets are incredible. There are endless things to see. And for a real departure from the rest, Gibraltar is a short drive away and a fabulous destination for a day out. But park on the Spanish side of the border as trying to drive back into Spain from Gib and you fall victim to that age-old deliberate obstruction and delay by the Spanish.

I hate to even say anything negative about this impressive resort but I will say that we thought the apartment decor and lighting and the various appliances were getting a little 'tired'. Clean and comfortable and probably in keeping with Spanish style but a little brightening up and more modern appliances would be an improvement. its an 'aparthotel'. They empty the rubbish and change the linen only once a week and change the towels twice a week. It is not 'hotel' level of room care, but supplying plenty of towels and dressing gowns helped. The roads in this part of Spain are now good but layouts and ridiculously complex roundabouts are the product of a deranged mind and demand total alertness and competent, experienced drivers.

The food ( breakfast ) was great, a good buffet style with the addition of an option hot breakfast available to order from the table. with such a wide selection available, breakfast was filling, healthy and well presented.

Having taken the time to check in online as requested via email, i still found that check in was a very long process just standing around at the reception desk, looking at the staff member, whilst they processed their admin. On the first night i stood there whilst the member of staff talked with a colleague for 3 or 4 minutes before starting their admin. Which left me standing at the reception desk doing nothing for nearly 10 minutes... It seems silly to expect guests to wait so long,..surely if you have all the info from the check in asked of us, then you have all you need. print the page you need us to sign and get on with the admin after. Or just get quicker at it

I enjoyed the little things: spacious suite (nice bedroom with ensuite bath, jacuzzi, Livingroom with sitting and eating table, nice terrace to bath in the sun... Breakfast was very ingenious: selection of good and plenty of food at the Buffet, or to choose prepared dishes from the menu. Pool and bar with nice atmosphere!

Distance to the sea; Twisted access to the hotel (plus , there is the confusion between Reception / Guest service, where the gps takes you) Glass door at the terrace was not isolated, thus sleeping in the Livingroom made it hard in windy storm. Late check-in and early check-out ! I am disappointed because I could not get an extension at check-out.
