Quiet, comfortable, balcony to see the sunset. The lady at reception very welcoming. The dinning room area was very helpful as we were able to eat our tortilla from the bar there. Also a vending machine with snacks, drinks & beers. Shower was hot & bed was comfortable.

Reception is unmanned (at least in early May) - not a problem but just to be aware you need to call the number on the window when you arrive. They picked up straight away and someone was there within minutes.

Simple room, clean, with efficient and attentive staff that was careful to inform me of my options for the night. A good place to rest up for the next day's hike, and the price was reasonable for the room.

The only thing that was a drawback was the location, and this was a function of the time of year: because there were no restaurants open within two kilometers - due to offseason hours -- the hotel staff made pizzas available.

My room was light and bright. Big windows overlooking the valley. Staff were friendly, did my washing. Hotel was easy to find, close the Camino. Nice hot shower and comfortable beds.

One small light in the room flickered all night. I was unable to determine how to turn it off. Bit disruptive for a good sleep. Have noted the fault in the feedback sheet left in my room

I liked everything, the very helpful staff, the cleanliness of all the entire facilities, the comfort of the bed, an area to socialize and purchase snacks, the balcony to look out to the sea, the newness of the hotel, an excellent Wi-Fi, a place to dry laundry, and the closeness to the Camino del Norte. In addition, there was a nearby restaurant that serve throughout the day, and even had a real breakfast at 6:30 in the mornings

There was nothing not to like.

Very comfortable beds. Wonderful wifi. Shower was hot with great water pressure. Provided soap, shampoo and a hair dryer. There’s a building with indoor and outdoor lounge areas, coffee and tea, a microwave , toaster oven & vending machine. Right off the Camino. Check out 12pm

There wasn’t many restaurants or grocery stores around

Everything was perfect—high quality, sparkling clean, lots of thoughtful details. Also really enjoyed the dining room/lounge with coffee, tea, microwave, and cold drinks machine! View of sunset was magnificent.

Very nice place located right on Camino path. There is a vending machine with snacks and tea and coffee available at any time. Coffee shop 3 minutes walk. Room was very nice, spacious and clean, with a small balcony. Very comfy bed and quiet place at night due to the location so really got a nice rest after all day walking. Very good breakfast available for a good price. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed the place, secluded but close to everything you need, including amazing beaches and natural spots

The breakfast was great but could be better. Could use mosquito nets to allow for opening the windows at night for extra cooling

Views and location to break up a long hiking stretch. Views are lovely and the hostess was nice

No dinner or food and local cafes/bars shut at 4:30pm so be mindful of that otherwise you'll be eating vending machine biscuits, beer and tears for dinner and breakfast. Ask about food options when you check in.

A necessary stopover brought us to El Pinar. The host was very friendly, the room spacious, bathroom super clean and the bed very comfy. All that is needed for a quick stopover. The hotel is about 15 minutes drive from Luarca, an idealistic harbour town for fantastic seafood dinners. Accommodation choices in this part of the coastline is very limited, and we have been lucky to find availability at El Pinar, at a very reasonable rate, about three months before our travel. They also allow for refund which is another reason for choosing them as our road trip plan can evolve and requires some flexibility.
