It’s a nice old hotel in a great location on the Camino Primitivo. The room was a good size, and everything was clean. The two men we dealt with at check in were courteous and helpful.

The design of the bathroom was a little tricky, with the toilet and bidet leaving little space between the two. Also, no convenient plug to use at the desk so if you need to work, you had to have the laptop on the bed. It’s an older place, so a little dated, but the price was good, so just go in with appropriate expectations and all will be well.

The very first thing you'll notice about your stay is the friendly staff. The woman that checked us in went above and beyond. The rooms were gorgeous (we lucked out and got one overlooking the river running through town) and clean. They were fairly large and the beds were comfortable. They had a great restaurant downstairs that had awesome food (would recommend the Fabada). Our server was easy to talk to and happy to joke with us. They also had a cafe to sit at for breakfast/coffee/beers if the restaurant wasn't open. It was right in the middle of town which made walking around the area a breeze.

Everything. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was small but had everything we needed for a great overnight stay. The bed was comfortable. The room was very warm. The water in the shower was very warm too. We had a 'plato combinado' in the bar - very tasty and good value for money.

The hotel is situated on the Camino at the center of the city, we had a veiw frome the room to the river and to the old biuldings of the city and it was nice. The hotel has cafe bar and a good restourant, they served breakfast very qwickly so we could go out aerly for the camino.

I stopped here on pilgrimage to Santiago, and it's well situated for that, being in the middle of town. The room was a good size, he bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. The restaurant does a pilgrim's menu which gives you almost more food than you can comfortably eat, all of it delicious.

I have no complaints, it's a nice place to stop, particularly if you want an alternative to an albergue.

This was a wonderful little town with a great feel. The hotel had all the features we were looking for (with the exception of wifi). Good storage, good bathroom, great view. Very quiet. The restaurant in the hotel was very good and service was quick and easy. They had a good secure spot to store the bikes.

Wifi was very weak in our room.

Truely excellent restaurant attached to the hotel (or vice versa). Typical Asturias dishes offered in very generous proportions. Heard and spoke very little English while in this town but no problem with communication. Rooms were comfortable and reasonably priced. Staff were great too.

The hotel beds were not great for a larger Australian.

Very comfortable stay, room was spacious, elegantly furnished and clean, dinner in the hotel restaurant was fantastic, ate there two nights in a row (pilgrim's menu). Location right in the center of Pola. Very kind staff.

Mattress is very soft, not my preference.

Great food in the restaurant! This was our first night in Spain as we flew in and started the Camino the next day. It was a great landing spot as we got some rest and were able to head out the next day

It is not fancy-- simple beds and facilities.

Our room was spacious and luxurious with a view of the town and river. Staff were attentive and the location was central . I highly recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

Breakfast was sparse but the coffee very good.
