Beautiful place to stay Very interesting historical place The lady that looked after me (sorry didn't get name) was so lovely and welcoming. One of my best stays in Spain.

The room was okay

Has new owners apparently, and has sadly deteriorated since last time I was here. Breakfast was a sad affair and there is no one around to help you.

It was very strange there was only one member of staff. Breakfast was completely gluten free which was not known before we booked, old apples, very poor orange, awful frozen white gf bread, very limited. Quite surprising given the two stars and the expensive restaurant on the ground floor. The floor in the bedroom was dirty.

Location is good and the room was clean

- no signage for the hotel - the room was very warm with only a small window. - no fan or air-conditioning provided - in the room no chair, no table, no place to put the suitcase other than on the floor - no curtains either Woden window or full daylight

The hotel messed up my check-in so, because there were no staff available to greet me, I was forced to wait for a long time in the lobby until a receptionist came to the hotel. The restaurant didn't open until 8.30 pm for dinner, although I had been told that it would open at 8.00. At breakfast, there was almost no food left when I entered the buffet room, five minutes after it opened.
