Amazing stay that was extremely centrally located. The room was clean and extremely suitable for a week stay for a couple. The hosts Jose & Iratxe were super warm and really nice people. They allowed us to choose a room as they had two options available. They also gave us amazing recommendations for food and bars. We felt really at home in this place and we will definitely be coming back again. Also the breakfast was super delicious. It’s a place that is run by a lovely couple and it shows.

The staff at Posada la Mies is extremely kind and friendly. We felt welcome from the first to the last moment of our stay. The lady who cleaned our room even invested some time every day to stage a new "activity" for our son's stuffed monkey, from watching TV to eating a banana and playing board games with other "local" stuffed toys. The location is extremely convenient. We parked our car on the first day and because we were in the very center of the town we could reach everything we needed on foot.

Unfortunately our room was a little on the small side for 3 people. We didn't even have enough room to hang our towels when we got back from the beach. The room was also extremely hot (it was facing South and had just a window). An AC system or at least a ceiling fan would have been extremely welcome. The bathroom was windowless and there was no extractor fan, only a grid which the owner assured us was enough to guarantee good air refreshing. We beg to differ.

A fabulous place for a one night stay, close to the Camino del Norte. We had the best shower of the trip so far, a fabulous bed, a spacious room and a great balcony to dry our muddy boots. The lovely hosts provided a good breakfast to fuel our hike today… served at 7.30

No lift so we had to carry suitcases up 2 floors … not fun after a tough hike and old knees

Posada La Mies surpassed our expectations. It is a lovely B&B close to the center and the beach. The room was great with a little balcony. We slept very well as it was quiet in the neighborhood. The owner was really friendly. Breakfast was also really good.

Location was lovely, right on the Camino. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast offered a wide assortment of foods. Most of all the proprietors, José and Rachel, were so kind and friendly.

I had trouble with the automatic lights in the hallway and stairs, perhaps I was not doing something correctly.

What a beautiful, authentic Spanish treat. Stopped on the Camino and was met with a really comfortable bed. Kind owner and outstanding decor. Close to beech and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Check in -needed a phone but we didn’t have internet access as from Australia. Nice neighbour came to our rescue and rang no for us to get code and room no- then no problems

Great location, friendly staff, clean room.

We were on the Camino and they did not serve breakfast until 8:30am so we did not get to enjoy breakfast. It would have been if they prepared something for us early.

Lovely people, quirky throughout, personal caring attention. Beautiful grapefruit tree and scent in the garden wafting up to the balcony. Loved it. Not much English do some Spanish would help. Great fresh Spanish breakfast.

Only thing would be shower gel not sachets in the bathroom

Very tidy property that is close to the Camino, restaurants and other services. We had a room with a little balcony which was a real bonus. Has a lovely communal area downstairs.

Rooms are a wee bit cramped, especially the bathroom.
