My room was very clean an cosy, the bed was really comfy. The entire hotel has a subtle fresh scent, I like that. The hotel is located in the historical centre of Orihuela with various restaurants around and at walking distance from the train station. I only stayed one night.

I did not like the view from my room: a wall, but it was not a big issue for a one-night stay. I hate that fact that the water in the shower is not cold, but I know this has nothing to do with the hotel, it is something normal in the Mediterranean region during summer.

The location, the staff is excellent, the rooms are clean. It has elevators

The place will profit from place a note explaining how to use the phone - specifically- what numbers are needed to dial to call room service, laundry and the reception for instance. Same comment regarding the TV. It is not self explanatory that one need to press “all channels “ in The remote to access TV and there are only 3 , two of which are news. No movies.

Very central. Lovely building. Half board a very good option; both breakfast and evening meal were very good. Smooth check in.

We paid a small amount extra for a balcony and city view but the view was restricted and not pleasant at all. I wouldn’t recommend paying more for it. It was noisy outside from very early in the morning because of a market in the street below.

The room was big with, a clean and big bathroom and for a family of 4 it was a good division between the main bedroom and the room/beds for the kids. We didn't go for the breakfast. The parking building is close to the hotel and safe and secure with charging possibilities for electric cars. The location is central with supermarkets, pharmacy, restaurants and coffee shops within short walking distance

A palace transformed into a modern hotel, with spacious and spotlessly clean rooms. Late check-in is never a problem, and the unique atmosphere of the place makes the stay truly special.

Morning coffee is not available unless breakfast is included, and the nearest café is a little further away.

It is a lovely period hotel that has been beautifully restored.

Do not upgrade to a balcony with city view. It is not a balcony you can sit on and we looked at a block of flats opposite so a bit of a rip off. Bar also does not open until 20.30 which is all well and good but there was nothing open near the hotel considering it was August.

Checking in went smooth and the fact that most of the staff spoke english, was helpful. Breakfast was good. And the location was bang in the middle of town. The rooms were clean and the airco was great.

The many E-mails that were sent by the hotel in advance, often with the same info. And that apparently the breakfast was not included in the reservation. The water temperature in the shower had a bi-polar disorder, alternating from scorching hot to ice cold every 20 seconds

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful The food standards are really great apart from breakfast

I would have liked extra pillows and bedding in the room. A bottle of free water would be nice

Breakfast was good we didnt realise there was an option of cooked eggs with other thjngs. Had that second morning. The hotel restaurant wasn't quite as expected because it's at edge of the bar and that took over many of the seats. And was very busy! Bar was busy possibly more than usual because of the market weekend.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Included in the tariff, the evening meal was of high quality for the additional cost over the basic B&B tariff. Breakfast choices were fiine and the coffee was good.

No bar area in the hotel so we had to go in search of one in the Town. Our room was s little dated but was at least of a decent size. Parking felt expensive at 15 euros per day.
