A very comfortable large bed and a peaceful nights sleep in quiet surroundings. The salt water swimming pool was fabulous after a hot busy day. A lovely traditional bar is located just down the road with a great terrace with views of the hills to sit and relax. Good breakfast with plenty of choice.

Very kind and helpful hosts, lovely room with breakfast buffet that varied every day, many eke ents homemade. Beautiful and peaceful pool kept clean without chlorine. View from our room of mountains was beautiful. We came here by bus from Granada, it’s possible and takes 1.25 hours, with a short bit steep walk to the property . We were happy here without a car and stayed four nights, as a rural/pool break from travelling round Spanish cities by public transport. You can also leave by bus though the times aren’t so good, so taxi service back to Granada is easier.

Quite remote and, as we were out of season, nothing local was open (bar/restaurant etc) so had to drive

The attention of the staff was amazing. They served delicious breakfasts. The town has beautiful sights and routes for cycling and trekking. The room was very clean and quiet.

The owners are lovely, pleasant and kind. Accommodation was spotless, breakfast outstanding

We will come back and stay longer because it's a great starting point for walks, for trips to the coast, for a trip to Granada, ... Every moment of the day it's really quiet in Pinos del Valle even though the autovia (main road) is close-by (5 min).

This was the second visit within a couple of months and it didn't disappoint one bit. The hosts, Hans and Machteld, are very warm and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. There isn't anything that I would add or detract from my previous review, except to say that my wife, travelling with me this time, is equally impressed.

This is a small town with typically narrow streets (hire a small car!) so parking may be an issue when it is busy. You can always get the car into the square to drop your bags off but you may have to park the car a small distance away. This is not really a negative, it's part of the charm, but worthy of note

The location is superb....if you like the peace and quiet of a small village in the hills.....I did. That said the village is only 5 minutes from the main route into Granada or south to Salobrena, and even the minor road from the Autovia into the village and beyond was very well maintained. Breath-taking views as you cross the reservoir dam and many lovely walks up down or around the area. The guest house was well cared for, clean and with good facilities. Breakfast was very comprehensive and the hosts, Hans and Machtild were very accommodating on variety. An honesty bar with a superb Belgian beer amongst others and the occasional dinner laid on, even a late arrival snack for me when I got there on the first night. Nothing was too much trouble it seemed. The room was very nicely furnished with a very modern and spacious en-suite shower room. Loads of storage in both bedroom and bathroom.....nice comfy pillows too! Outside is a beautifully cool courtyard terrace and beyond a fantastic garden area, with many seating options, and a wonderful pool, for fitness or just chilling. There is a local bar for food and drink, a couple of shops and an ATM........and a church of course :-)

I can't think of anything negative about this place but you have to realise that this is a in a quiet village so, no night clubs or raving bars but views and tranquillity aplenty.

Great views and the breakfast was superb. The bathroom was lovely. I had a sun terrace and it was quiet and a private space. The swimming pool area looked very inviting. Hosts were friendly.

The bed was not comfortable and felt hard - perhaps a memory foam mattress cover could help? The echoing from the house was there as I could hear all the movement going on.
