What we liked: * the staff upgraded our stay to a junior suite. * the room was very quiet, very comfortable, & the shower water was hot & plentiful * the staff were very friendly * the continental breakfast included amazing homemade bread * the pool and surrounding garden space was lovely

What we didn´t like: * the pool pump wasn´t working & the water wasn´t clean as it could be * the restaurant was overpriced (18.50 for a Caprese salad & 17.10 for a veggie burger was excessive, & our veggie burgers were unevenly cooked - cold in part / warm in part) * the shower gel wall dispenser, which was laying on a shelf when we arrived, had yet to be reattached * the grounds in front of our suite were uneven because of a drain cover - it seemed dangerous. Maybe a little fence around it? * if you´re going to offer a little tapa before dinner (delicious cheese dip, olives & crackers) perhaps the crackers shouldn´t be presented in their original cellophane wrapping. A handful of picos would be excellent.

If you want to feel the rural Spain this is the place to come. If you are a tourist and travel by car I highly recommend you to check in here rather than in the town of Granada. You can enjoy the views of the mountains and the fresh air. You can also take a hike to the Rincon de los enamorados (Partidor de aquas La Pavilla) The hosts are great and opened to accommodate your needs. Our room was just above the restaurant and although it was very chic and charming like an old Inn accommodation the noise form the restaurant, until it closes, can be a little distress. It didn't bother us but if you look for a more quite room or if you are a light and quick sleeper I would recommend you to ask for a room in the garden. And last but not least the food at the restaurant it is amazing. It was the best beef stake I have ate in Spain. I strongly recommend to have lunch or dinner at their restaurant. The surrounding of the finca could use a little more maintenance but we were there in spring so I hope that for the summer all will be ship shape.

Warm welcome , spacious room with good view , peaceful rural location , excellent breakfast and delicious food in the mill restaurant . Nice to have a separate big communal room with a kitchen and log fire if you want to cook your own meals . The hosts are helpful and friendly and speak many languages including English . It’s a great place to spend some time for walks and the local arts centre has musical events on regularly . Very special place .

We didn’t have a car and found it difficult to get buses to the coast . You need to take a taxi.

The hotel is located in a peaceful, scenic place and everything in the hotel was created for enjoying nature around you. our room was called marrakech. everything was designed in the Moroccan style, very specific. on the second day we were a little bit tired from the very bright colours. the room has bath in the bedroom. we enjoyed taking a bath each day. it was really perfect. the kitchen (and librery) is located in the separate building.

The bed was super hard. The room was quite dark like a cave. .

Excellent host with great communication. There is a hardworking team of friendly welcoming staff. Authentic atmosphere with good facilities and wide range of services available. Excellent location for our group who enjoy authentic taste of Spain, outdoor activities and relaxation.

Accessibility is a little awkward for those with mobility difficulties. A few things weren’t working and bathrooms were small.

A lovely cosy, warm apartment. Clean and good size. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. It is set in a lovely country style environment which is very peaceful. The restaurant is pricey but well worth the visit. The restaurant staff are excellent. The beds were large and very comfy. The bathroom excellent with a fabulous shower. We will definitely be back.

The only thing I think they could improve on is the sofa in the apartment. Needs a little updating and maybe more cushions.

The location is fabulous 5 minutes walk to Niguelas village. The room was very cosy and Spanish style which we love. Breakfast in the old mill was really nice but you do pay extra and its more than 4 euros depending on what you have.

As we stayed in January it's very quiet and we couldn't find anywhere to eat in the village as everything was closed including the in house restaurant. Luckily we found a supermarket in the village and made sandwiches. The owners didn't offer any advice on this when asked, we thought we could eat in the restaurant if nowhere else.

Very nice location, quiet and original. Gas station and supermarket 5 min away, Granada 20 min drive. We had room no 8, I really appreciated the rural style and the shower design. The owner is very nice, communicates very well in fluent English.

It's a location best suited for summer season (garden, restaurant terrace). We would have liked to see it in full season, our visit was in February 20024. Maybe next time when we will surely try the restuarant too.

Perfect location when you have a car, tasty dinner, nice staff, helpful owners, romantic scenery, swimming pool was very clean and big enough. Lots of possibilities around( with a car). We wish to come back.

Oldish interior of the rooms, some equipment did not work properly. Time to replace some interior devices or furniture. In General it is a minor thing.

So much better than even the pictures made it seem. So pretty, so peaceful, well appointed rooms wth everything you need. Lovely grounds. Restaurant not cheap but well worth it. Staff so lovely and welcoming. Didn't use the hamam, at 38° that was not something we considered! Local village of Nigüelas was just a short walk and had lovely bars to while away the evening. Breakfast was not cheap but as long as you have time then it's well worth it.

Nothing really to not like. If I was going to be really picky then breakfast service is slow. Top tip:order everything you want right away. But this was only a problem on the first morning when we were in a rush because we had tickets for the alhambra. The other mornings we were happy to have a Lento breakfast, after all it's name translated is slow farmhouse
