Absolutely stunning stay near Granada! This hotel is tucked away in a peaceful, beautiful area with breathtaking mountain views right from the room. Our room was flawless – a lovely, secluded terrace, a gorgeous bathroom with a huge shower, and the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for a long time. Breakfasts were a daily highlight – fresh and delicious, with eggs made to order and excellent coffee! If you stay for dinner (which you absolutely should), the food is hands down the best I’ve eaten. As a vegetarian, it was such a joy to be in Spain and eat fresh, healthy, food - Michelin stars all round if it was up to me! The hotel is also perfectly located – just a 20-minute drive from the Alhambra, making it ideal for a day trip without the hassle of staying in the city. Nearby, there’s a good walk (with five bridges to cross by a gorge), a beautiful three-hour hike that the staff will recommend – it’s well worth the effort. The staff are fantastic – warm, welcoming, and always helpful. All in all, a perfect escape – I can’t wait to return. Thank you!!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The online check-in process via the web form was easy and convenient. Communication prior to our arrival was clear and efficient, thanks to the chat feature on Booking.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Ana, who provided us with a lot of information and guided us to our room. The morning shift staff were equally friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was delightful, offering a variety of options, including alternatives suitable for my pregnancy diabetes. The location is stunning; don't be deterred by the winding roads leading up to it—the scenic views are well worth the journey.

We also had the opportunity to dine at the hotel. The food was refined and reasonably priced, and the service was friendly.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, beautiful location, and great amenities.

Phantastic location, embedded in nature but still close to Granada and hiking routes. People coming there are obviously settled and not the youngest anymore, though there was one couple with a child. Very nice hotel on different levels, friendly and very accommodating staff and cosy places to be in- and outside. Useful information about visiting Granada, hiking, and restaurants (be aware that you will get the top league - for more simple choices, you have to look yourself). Dinner is good, though the vegetarian option could have a bit more taste - don't expect the new style veggie cooking. Breakfast is tending towards brunch, very nice. There is no traditional ham and cheese platter - no problem, but be aware if this is a must for you.

Limited coffee choices. No problem for us, since we do not drink any, but could be for others. The price is the price - you know it beforehand :)

We arrived at La Almunia straight off the plane at Malaga and were given such a warm and friendly welcome by Ariadna that we immediately felt at home! All the staff were friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to give us a good stay. The hotel is hidden away with an amazing view over the valley and surrounding mountains, particularly from the restaurant terrace. We particularly loved the food, a 5 course set menu which was absolutely delicious every night. We were impressed at the attention to detail and how the hotel was so accommodating to our particular dietary requests. It was lovely that the owner Patricia visited each table to chat with all of her guests, or in her absence the lovely Ariadna and Anna. There was a really relaxed vibe at the hotel and the swimming pool and gardens added to this. Thank you to Patricia, Ariadna, Anna and all the staff for a wonderful and memorable stay. Would love to return!

We have been at Almunia del Valle once befor. This time we chose a superior room to get the nice Terasse or balcony with view. and got disappointed. The room is fantastic. But we got disappointed. We had room 16 below - and the terrace was in the shadow, and the threes and bushes growing a lot since the picture at the web was taken. It was not so nice. All the other superior room had the sun all time. I think, that It’s not good that the price are the same. Maybe shadow is nice in the summer, but not in September.

This place is amazing. The grounds and views are stunning and the house and rooms are designed with such attention to detail, style and are full of character. We enjoyed the relaxed ambiance and dined most nights as the food and service was so good. We stayed for a week and didn't want to leave. Patricia is a lovely person, and so passionate about what she has created, which is unique. Her and the team made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for making it such a special trip, we loved every minute and can't wait to return.

The location was outstanding with a peaceful pool area and evening terrace which overlooked the Sierra Nevada - you will not get a better view !! The room was fabulous and located near to the pool. The breakfast and evening meals were delicious. Patricia , the boss & owner greeted you at breakfast and evening meal with a warm welcome and words of wisdom. Her staff , Ariadna, Anna and Marta were professional and extremely helpful at all times. The waitresses at breakfast and evening Montse and Tatiana looked after out every need. The hotel & location is the best we have stayed in and the experience we had from the whole hotel team was wonderful ,, we will definitely be calling again.

The property is located in the heart of nature, and boasts a beautiful scenery. Peaceful and beautiful with cute pets in the premises and very helpful staff Anna and Adriana. They go through the map for hikes and for visits to Granada city which is really nice. Breakfast tastes good. The room is very nice with a very comfy bed. It was a really nice getaway and I highly recommend.

The breakfast staff are rude, slow and they do not communicate well. I think this place deserves to have english speakers because It is a place for tourists, and having staff that doesn’t understand what you need is not very helpful. The breakfast operation really needs work like you wait a lot to get your bread toasted or your eggs cooked. I appreciate the eco friendly operations, but it needs optimization. Also, grass cutting machinery is too loud in the morning during a peaceful relaxation.

Amazing place! Very cozy and clean, feels like home, we had a couple of rainy days during our holiday, and it was still nice to stay in the room and enjoy the beautiful view from our room. You can also enjoy the shared terraces and a living room. One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a hotel, and the dinner was also great (although I found it a little bit pricy if you join the dinner in the hotel every night, but for a couple of times it’s absolutely worth it - you get fresh excellent products and a very pleasant experience in general). Also, there is a fantastic hiking route starting from the hotel, and a lot of others in a reasonable driving distance. The road to the hotel might look a bit tricky, but I would say it’s absolutely doable, nothing to worry too much. Thank you, we will definitely return if we visit this area again in the future!
