Arriving at sunset, we were greeted with a spectacular panorama — the city of Granada unfolding below us in golden light. The hotel, perched on the hillside, offered not only a comfortable room but also unforgettable vistas from two directions. We did not want to close our eyes, as every glance out of the window was like a living painting. Its location proved excellent: just a short 15-minute walk to the Alhambra and with frequent buses connecting to the heart of the city. The WiFi worked flawlessly, making our stay both scenic and practical. The staff were welcoming and spoke excellent English, which made everything easy and pleasant. This hotel captures both the beauty and the practicality one seeks when exploring Granada.

Parking was a challenge — limited street spaces on a steep road made arrival stressful. A partnership with a nearby parking facility or clearer instructions would greatly improve the experience.

The view is by far the winning feature of this property. Virtually panoramic views over the sprawling mass of Granada below. The rooms are small but charmingly decorated and comfortable; and the terrace allows one to soak up the views in a more private setting. The staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating, and their English was good, making communication easy.

Being located high up on a ridge, the views are amazing but the downside is that it’s a good 15-20 min STEEP walk into town or to the Alhambra. And in the intense 35 deg C+ heat, getting around can be a real killer. That said, if you ask, the hotel will order you a taxi, which arrives within minutes. My one other comment is the restaurant, which is the most beautiful space but INHOSPITABLY hot in the afternoon. They have three air conditioners lined up on the ceiling but don’t run them, which is a shame because it means you can’t enjoy that space until after 9 PM. I’m sure they have their reasons (probably energy intensive) but it is still a bit of a shame.

Close to Alhambra and city center, great view, possibility to diner comes in handy when you arrive late, simple but good breakfast, as we stayed for 6 days we took the junior suite with private terras so we enjoyed the sunsets with a glass of wine…, good bed and cushions, sitting room is spacious, bathroom a little narrow, there is a minibus stop just beside the hotel that brings you to the city center, however, we choose to climb the hill to keep us fit…, friendly staff.

The plumbing in the bathroom could use some improvement to avoid some unwanted smells…

We stayed with 2 adults and 2 children. The rooms were quite spacious. There are 2 large balconies. The views from the balconies are very very nice. The hotel is located on a hill. We arrived by car. You can park your car in the neighborhood for free, there is space. It was good in this respect. It is really close to the Alhambra Palace, it can also be reached on foot. The hotel's decorations, paintings and furniture are really stylish and special. We were quite pleased in general. It is very very good for its price.

It wasn't a big deal for us but it could have been a little cleaner.

The location - 10 minutes to the Alhambra - 25 minutes downhill into centre. Miguel was fabulous in offering us a better room / view if we were happy for 2 singles pushed together as opposed to a double. My word was he right!! The breakfast is more than adequate - and that view over the city is stunning. Free on street parking near the hotel. How on earth this is a 1 star hotel - we’ve no idea - do not be put off by that - we’ve stayed in worse 3/4 star hotels. All is all a fabulous stay and once again thank you Miguel for suggesting the other room.

Nothing.

The view from our room was amazing and the room itself was very comfortable. It may of benefitted from tea/coffee making facility. The breakfast and evening meals we had were all excellent.

We were on the 3rd lower floor and even though the room was comfortable it was noisy from the room above when they used the shower or toilet as the water pipes came down through our room.

The staff were so helpful and accommodating. Our flight was delayed and by the time we arrived at the property it was 4am. There were no issues checking in thankfully and when we got up the next morning even though we were a little bit late for breakfast the staff still served us. The views were stunning the food was lovely and Id happily go back.

The stuff we didn't like wasn't within the control of the hotel such as the parking situation. There is free parking but it is on street and you cant reserve it. The Hotel is also on a mountain side and so at times the parallel parking was a bit tricky. We picked the location due to its proximity to the Alhambra due to the temperature though we had to drive as it was too hot to walk it but also the gradient of the mountains and hills in Grenada (even in the city) is quite steep so not ideal to walk in during the hottest points of the summer

We arrived in Spain during the power outlet and the receptionist was very helpful and very friendly. The room we booked had a spectacular view of the city. Which we really enjoyed. The Al Hambra was within walking distance which was also very nice.

Nothing! The hotel lies on a hillside, which gives spectacular views over the city. But if you want to walk towards the city center be prepared to have to walk up hill a little bit on your way back (if you are not planning on going by car, bus or taxi).

We loved Granada and we loved this hotel. Perched on the edge of a mountain overlooking the expanse of Granada from the snow capped Sierra Nevada to the cathedral and the surrounding mountains. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Our room was bathed in afternoon sunlight, The location is within walking distance to great restaurants just down the hill and to the Alhambra. If you are not into walking the C35 bus stops outside to run you into the centre of the old town and back again for Euro 1.40 per person per trip. We have been travelling for 7 weeks and the breakfast was our favourite of the trip to date. The hotel being out of the centre meant we had a peaceful sleep each night. Great value for the price and again million dollar views.

The towels could be updated.

This was an exceptional experience - for us a great location (not in city centre), featuring an exceptional panoramic view to most of the city of Granada (well that`s the "Mirador" in the name of the hotel right?) from a huuuge cozy loggia. Cozy room, comfy king size bed, nicely furnished room. Very beutiful interior of the hotel, it`s definitely worth it to skip the lift and take the stairs instead! Oh and a funny thing: the reception is on floor 0, our room was on floor 3, which ther means 3 floors down :) - the hotel is built in a very steep slope. Parking on the street just in front of the hotel, no problem. Nice stroll down to the city center around 20-25 minutes (then of course another x hours through the city). Personnel very nice and professional. Anytime again, if in Granada!
