Very nice hotel, everything looked very new and was very clean. The staff in the reception were very nice and competent. Very good amenities in the room, and efficient vallet parking.

The hotel laked some facilities. The spa was very small, and the hotel did not have a gym. Of course these are very small details, but when the weather is bad and the slopes are closed, this becomes a little issue. Although the staff in the reception were very kind and competent, the service in the restaurant was very slow, felt understaffed. One of the staff members who appeared to be a manager was very unpleasent with our family which came to visit us at the hotel and wanted to park the car at the hotel. Feels unreasonable to raise issues with these small details as we spend around 9K during our stay, which also shows this hotel is very pricey! Overall good experience, just these small details that could be improved.

the hotel felt really luxurious, in spite of being in Sierra Nevada if you know what i mean )) it's up at the top of the village, so you're away from all the chaos and whenever you need a lift, the hotel immediately sends a minivan to either bring you down to the village or up back to the hotel. staff was extremely nice and helpful, views from the restaurant, gorgeous views of the mountain from the outdoor terrace with its swimming pool and sauna (sauna seemed to not hold the temperature though), very good breakfast, decent champagne at breakfast bar, good level of cooking in the restaurant. overall though the hotel isn't cheap, it felt like it's worth that money, we felt pampered and there was a feeling of generosity around. you pay a lot for the room, but then a lot of things are simply included. also stunning sunsets on the Lodge's terrace with dj's set, just next door and a playroom for kids in the Lodge that can be used by Maribel's guests. tip for people who travel with kids and think of getting a duplex: the two levels of duplex are just tiny and the second level has no door, you can probably consider booking two standard rooms, as all their rooms seem to go in 2 joined by a tiny corridor. that way kids just have their room, parents have theirs and you're just next door to each other.

our room (duplex) was tiny; while all the staff was pleasant and helpful, a girl at the restaurant rudely refused to keep a jar of plain yoghurt for our toddler for after breakfast (that's usually his snack around 11am, but because we decided to stay an extra night in the hotel, i ran out of the ones i had brought with me) saying if there will be one left after breakfast, then we can have it. not a big deal, i just took one and had to come back to our room to put it into the fridge, yet that level of rudeness towards the guests is unacceptable

Second time at the Maribel, we love it here!

The room temperature couldn't be adjusted, room was too warm for our liking - we were told to sleep with windows open - then it gets too cold and you have to close them. Rinse and repeat, you know where I'm going with this!

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The location for skiing is excellent. The hotel facilities including the spa are exceptional. The food in the restaurant is of a high standard and the staff is courteous and makes you feel at home. Highly recommended.

The pool was very nice and warm, a beautiful contrast with the snow, but it was on a terrace, which felt a bit uncomfortable to swim in. Would prefer it a bit more secluded, but that’s my personal opinion.

An absolutely stunning hotel from the location to the interior design to the food and incredible level of service. We were blown away and it is definitely worthy of 5 stars. It was the least stressful ski rental experience ever as the rental shop is in the actual hotel as well as a fantastic team of instructors who meet you there for your lessons. Natalia and the gang even went so far to put our boots on after strolling along from a delicious breakfast!

The only downside was the amount of snow which is just down to a freakishly warm ski season and obviously no fault of the hotel.

Upon arrival with my hybrid car, the person who dealed with the valet service asked me if I would like my battery to be charged while my car was parked in the garage. I found this extremely considerate and it set the tone of the rest of my stay. The staff showed a trully helpfull attitude at all times and delivered a high standard service. The rooms were very comfortable. The Spa was beautiful. Breakfast was excellent. But the best of all was the ski-service in the hotel. It was super easy to get a ski-pass and ski materials in the hotel. On top of this, the hotel is located on the slope, so not hustle at all.

the hotel is very clean the staff is very friendly and helpful all the staff speaks good english which was very pleasant for me .. also the offer free rides and pick up to the plaza the restaurant of the hotel is really really awesome very tasty food and the vibe of the place is so warming it was a really unforgettable experience for me

The service and reception was excellent. Among the best hotels I’ve visited so far.

The steam sauna didn’t work. Was a bummer. But the rest was working so all good. The menu in the restaurant wasn’t to my liking.

Staff amazing. DJ entertainment was very good. Furniture and comfort was great. Lovely pool and spa. Relaxed atmosphere. ski service fantastic.

Waiting time for the shuttle to take us back to the hotel.
