Location was great, the staff were very friendly, nice bar area. The room was good, with tea & coffee making facilities. Big bathroom, powerful shower. We went half board & were not disappointed, the breakfast was very good, and the evening meal was superb. The salad bar was great, as was the soups and main meal choices, with gluten free options. For the price it exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We will be going back.

Although there was ski storage it was a long walk on the road or many steps to the lower part of the village for the gondala.I suggest hiring & storing ski kit at lower level.

Great location. Nice and close to the town and the ski lifts. The staff were kind. The beds were lovely and comfortable and the hotel and rooms were clean throughout. Free storage in lockers of ski gear

The breakfast was good but I would have liked more fresh options. At night it was occasionally noisy with drunks outside. The decor of the hotel is dated but it was kind of charming and reflects in the price. The pool is tiny and full of screaming children. There's a hefty charge to use the jacuzzi/sauna/steam. Would be nice to have that included. Overall though, I'd be happy to stay again.

Pleasantly surprised with the view from the room, the room was spacious enough and kept very clean and tidy by the very polite, friendly and courteous staff. The staff at the reception were very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was very good and a choice for everyone. The only thing that maybe I would comment on is the kiddie night club Mango being very close and noisy at times but being on the 4th it wasn't too much of an issue although I could still hear it , I was too knackered to care. Car parking at the hotel is a plus as it can get busy in the centre.

Great staff. My daughter forgot her Tamogotchi in the restaurant. Alberto, a waiter picked it up. The next time we visited the restaurant he retrieved the Tamogotchi from his pocket and and handed it to my daughter with a smile, gesturing that it was fed. He FED the Tamogotchi so it did not die! My daughter was thrilled. He needs an award for customer service.

Heating inadequate. Receptionist could not have been more helpful. Provided the most effective electric heater I have ever come upon immediately for which we were most grateful. Small and pricey car park.

The hotel staff were great and friendly and spoke good English to guests. The room was very great with comfortable beds and light duvets. Kettle and fridge provided. Loads of hot water with a bath and over bath shower. We turned the room heating off and slept with the door slightly ajar which was fine. There was a good sized ski and boot locker room and garage parking behind (a little tight to park but they will park your car for you). The sauna, steam room and jacuzzi cost 40€ for 2 for a 50 minute circuit and the girl managing the facilities was very helpful. The smallish pool and gym facilities were free to those staying.

Some people have complained about the steps down to the ski lifts. Yes there are quite a few but given that it is direct access to the main square it is manageable and way better than many other accommodations. We managed it by walking down and back in light shoes and changing in to boots at the bottom of the steps. Easy to ski all day with those in a light backpack.

We enjoyed out time at Hotel Kenia. Our room was on the 6th floor, beautiful view, clean, warm, quiet. The pool was great and it is free (you have to pay for the jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna). Breakfast and dinner were also good - also it is true that not many options for vegetarians, even less for vegans. It was close enough to the center. My 66 years old (young) Mother and my 4,5 years old (young) Daughter and of course I had an amazing time. Thank you!

More vegetarian and vegan options would be very nice in the future :-)

The hotel is priced at mid/upper levels and achieved expectations for the price. The staff experienced and regular for the ski season and ready to answer any queries, polite and helped deliver the charm of the hotel. The buffet style food was satisfactory and met expectations. Bar prices good value for money. The car underground garage was convenient and priced well. The ski lockers helped organise day to day family skiing. The walk to the main chairlift (Al Andalus) took about 5/10 minutes depending upon children speed though a few flights of stairs of note. The hotel was charming and bedrooms satisfactory and met our expectations. We enjoyed our stay.

Location is great and the hotel is very good! Love the indoor pool that helps to rest after a long day snowboarding but what will make me come back to the hotel for sure is the staff. The lady from the SPA is extremely nice and the lady at the breakfast (they unfortunately I forgot her name) is the nicest and happiest worker I’ve met. Of course all of the others in the hotel were great but these two women made the difference.

Parking spot are limited but this is normal in almost any hotel in Sierra Nevada.

3mins from the plaza and 5mins from Al-Andalus lifts down the stairs doable with ski boots. Super friendly staff, great spacious lockers for equipment and good breakfast. We got a nice room with views which boosted the experience but also a back room also both very spacious. Some rooms have bunk beds for kids (wouldn't recommend those for 4 adults)

Location was great. The breakfast was decent, but not exceptional. The service was excellent. The staff is lovely and very attentive and kind. The spa, although small was really worth it. Overall, it was a good experience.

The esthetics of the lounge area could be improved. It wasn’t appealing to sit in that area and have a drink or tea, etc. If the overall look of the hotel would improve people would enjoy staying there more, I feel. Also, I went to book a massage as advertised, but they said the massage center would not be ready until another week- that was disappointing.
