The room was small, but the bed was very comfortable. More importantly, It's about a 90 SECOND walk to the front gate at the Alhambra! Seriously, the hotel! is closer to the front gate than the front gate is to the Nasrid Palaces inside the Alhambra. Also, the staff was very helpful when I had a problem with my tickets. They saved my trip

The room is cramped and the tv was very outdated. It was an old-style cable hook up. There were 2 options in English (BBC and Al Jazeera- English). I would have liked to see anything other than depressing news before bed.

The breakfast was very good 👍🏾 The area was beautiful and the view of the Sierra Nevada snow was awesome 🤩

My 1st room was very small which wasn’t in the photos. But my upgrade was spacious. The neighbouring room toilet flush + shower was so loud it wake me with a start sometimes 6 times a night. I was in room 410 and the perpetrator was room 409. Not good if you are a light sleeper 🤷🏻‍♀️

Amazing location overlooking the Alhambra and right next to the main parking lot and entrance to the Alhambra. Great value for the money. Nice sized room and bathroom and strong wifi. I had a balcony that provided anazing views. Purchased the breakfast and was reasonable. I appreciated the advice given by the hotel in terms of getting the Alhambra tickets early.

Overall no issues with my stay. Just a word of caution - be prepared to walk if you don't use a taxi or public transportation, espeically if you want to explore the rest of Granada. The walk is not bad but can be a surprise.

This is our third visit. A really relaxing hotel near the Alhambra. Great terrace and lovely airy room which was cool at night with the doors open despite the extreme heat of the day. Staff were friendly and helpful as always. A really pleasant walk down into the town to eat, drink and take in a show and virtually next door to the Alhambra. A small local bus runs continually into town - there and back - for those that find hills a challenge. The decor is traditional and the textiles a little faded, but we can accept that for the atmosphere. ..nice breakfast choices and staff...somewhere we hope to come back to.

Mechanism on window blind above the bed not working (we came up with a solution to let the light in). The lift was out - OK and good for our legs ! but may have been an issue for guests who have difficulty with stairs. The staff offered to carry our luggage upstairs which was nice.

Amazing location for those who want to see the Alhambra, or like to get around on foot (that said, tons of very accessible public transport and taxis available at almost any hour). It was a beautiful area with easily accessible restaurants and bars, literally right across from Alhambra. The hotel itself was lovely, with comfortable rooms and great wifi. The breakfasts were delicious. The staff was top notch, very helpful and kind, giving us tons of recommendations on where to go and useful tips. They also accommodate with extra blankets and pillows.

Personally found the beds very firm but that’s up to the person. I was otherwise very comfortable.

The receptionist was really helpful. When we asked about tickets for Alhambra for the next day, he gave us tips on how to get last minute tickets. We successfully got tickets early the next day because of him. We also got recommendations to good tapas restaurants. The location is just great, especially for people like us who are spontaneous and cannot just buy tickets for Alhambra days or weeks in advance. We just needed to cross the street to the entrance after buying our last minute tickets. Aside from the Alhambra, there are nice restaurants close by and a nice park leading to the center. We had a nice walk down to the center, and an easy bus ride up again. The room was also nice and clean. We had a nice view. Breakfast is simple, so no top points there. All in all lovely hotel, lovely staff, recommended!❤️

We had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally polite, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their kindness truly elevated my stay. In terms of value for money, this hotel exceeded expectations. The room was clean, comfortable, offering everything we needed without any unnecessary frills. For the price, it felt like a true bargain, especially considering the location. Speaking of location—it simply doesn't get better than this. The hotel is literally steps away from the entrance of the Alhambra, making it the perfect base for exploring this historic site without the stress of transportation or long walks. It was such a luxury to wake up and walk right into the Alhambra within minutes. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Granada who values comfort, kindness, and unbeatable access to one of Spain’s most iconic landmarks!

All good

The staff was very helpful, the hotel is very close to the entrance to Alhambra, the room was spacious and easily fit three of us and our luggage.

The unloading situation: we knew that parking is paid, and it’s a two minute walk, but we were told that we can unload the luggage before parking the car. Unfortunately, there is only one space in front of the hotel and there was another car parked there, so we had to block the street while unloading. I always feel very uncomfortable when I have to do that. Another thing is that our daughter slept on a couch, which was not flat, it was like a u-shape when opened. Our bed, however, was very comfortable, so if you travel as a couple, you’ll love it.

We stayed at Crisol Guadalupe so we could wake up and go to the Alhambra. The hotel is right across from the main entrance and we upgraded our room so we’d have an Alhambra view from our window. We entered the room to see our big bed but the room had a black and white theme instead of the pink we were expecting from the photos. Maybe they’ve renovated? Also the shower was a bit strange with the shower head on a post on the side wall instead of the front. Although the room appeared differently, it was comfortable. And the fact that it was so close to the Alhambra worked out perfectly for us to come back and rest after a full day of exploring the grounds. If you are visiting the area by way of public transportation, like we were, be sure to check which way the bus up the hill is going before you board. We ended up catching it in the wrong direction and lost 30 minutes. The day we left, we opted to have the front desk call us a taxi instead and that worked out perfectly, especially with the rainy weather!

Was greeted by very friendly and helpful reception member. Although the national power outage the previous day had slowed down the release of the room, I was able to leave luggage and go into town. The single rooms are more recently restored and had most things in a small area. I only noticed the fridge as I was about to check out, underneath the kettle / coffee tray. View from the window in this particular room was stunning. Bathroom had enough space. Breakfasts there were comprehensive and tasty.

Would have been nice to have had a small chair or stool. However, the room did not have enough space.
