It takes about 25min to walk up to Alhambra and about 10 min down to the town.

They put a kind of very strong toilet perfume (Green and using electrical to spread) in the living room and it is a disaster to us. Luckily, we found the sourcing and take it off.

Great air conditioning. Cute room. Good amenities - clothes washing machine and dryer on site. Had stove top, microwave, fridge, kettle, iron, etc on site. Communication prior to our arrival was fantastic.

The bathroom water had a slight smell but you don’t notice it with the door closed. The main access way from the property on foot is up a long flight of stairs, about a 10 minutes walk from where the bus drops you - this was hard with our suitcases (although the property did warn us to book a taxi!). The internet in Granada is not great! Neither the wifi nor our mobile data worked well.

The visit was exactly what I was hoping for - and I would gladly visit again in the future. Golondrinas is located in picturesque area, a very short distance from Alhambra. We stayed in the top floor apartment with a touching view of the city (the photos definitely don't lie!), that gave the place an undoubted touch of uniqueness. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and cozy - large enough for a couple, although it could probably fit a third person without the feeling of discomfort. A mezzanine bed might seem unusual, but we found it rather interesting than even slightly troublesome. All the equipment was functional and well maintained. The bathroom was spacious and convenient, perfect for a relaxing shower after a day of sightseeing. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary utensils - I felt like at home, being able to prepare full-fledged meals for an intense day. Slow, evening dinner with a glass of wine and a view of the roofs of Granada is a memory I will keep for a long time.

The only way to reach the host was by using the internet. Though in the end, I had no problems entering the apartment, I felt a bit uncomfortable, getting the necessary instructions just hours before my arrival (and not being sure, if I would even be able to receive them - due to my poor internet access during travel).

Starting off with the helpfulness of the owner, easy contact with advice like where to park. The flat was easy to get to with easy access. The flats are compact but have everything you need. As we unpacked the kids had working Netflix on the TV and watched a movie. The flat was clean and had character. The fridge was on so we were able to put in our food/milk etc. We parked in La Alhambra €22/day (not bad) and there's a closer parking but it was full. The city Center (as well as Alhambra) are walking distance and we did it with kids and a pram. Quiet area of Granada and with lots of charm. The rooms have AC/ climate control so you can be cool in summer and warm in winter. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom.

I gave it a 10 so I liked it all. The only caution is, if you can't get up stairs or are not able bodied it might be tricky to get to some of apartments on the 1st floor.

I chose this property because of the location. It had everything I needed for a short business trip. I liked the outdoor terrace & the wonderful views, plus the swifts which screeched through the air every evening. Far more characterful than a uniform hotel room.

This part of town is on a steep hillside, so the steps, stairs & uneven pavement surfaces can be tiresome. Not the owner’s fault though! Weather in April was perfect, but Summer temperatures may be challenging.

Code to enter the building and the room. I never met the host. But communicated via Whatsapp. WIFI ok. Room, small but good value for money. Location, very close to Alhambra and about 10 mins walk to the cathedral. Room was clean, and had cooking facilities.

Parking is hard or near impossible around the area, so if you are driving, think about where you can park. We left our car about 15 mins walk from the property for the 2 days we stayed in Granada. From the accommodation you can do everything on foot.

It was well equipped, the location was very nice and easily reachable from the center. It’s a bit up the hill close to a nice viewing point/park (Carmen de Los Martires). During our stay it was always quiet. Our room was facing the street and there were barely any noises during the night.

Our room was on the ground floor so it was a bit dark and we wouldn’t recommend trying to drive into the street of the apartment. There is a safe parking space within 5 min walk.

Everything that you would need, good shower, close to city, lovely decorations in public spaces..very pretty, arty feel. Bed was comfortable.

We are in our 60’s and we had the highest room in the house… it was very difficult to carry luggage up all those stairs, our room had low ceilings and we bumped our head several times…we had very small windows that were near the floor and you could not see anything outside and there was very little natural light. I did not know the washing machine was in public area. Photo in your ad is deceptive, as there is nowhere in building that has that view. It was difficult to find at first, and we drove around for 30 minutes before we found building with help from locals. Also parking was not easy. We never saw any staff.

Quaint, quirky accommodation with an excellent location close to the Alhambra Palace. Lovely terrace off main room for breakfast and evening drinks.

Quite difficult to find, it's on a narrow dead end street, which makes dropping off and and then reversing back down interesting! Very steep shiny stairs, our dog slipped and fell. The sleeping area was a mezzanine level, with open tread steps and a mattress on the floor. It would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

The room's facilities are complete and functioning well. You can cook there as they provide pots and pans. The check-in and check-out processes are straightforward, and it is also a peaceful and quiet place.

Please bring your own room slippers, as they do not provide any. Additionally, remember to pack your toothbrush and toothpaste.
