We loved feeling like we were staying in a museum. It was incredibly comfortable and we found our room to have a large bathroom and a sizable couch/sitting area in addition to the bed. I had chosen this room instead of one of the direct-Alhambra-view rooms for that reason, but we were still amazed at how roomy it felt. We loved just staring up at the amazing wood ceiling and would joke when we were in certain wood-ceilinged buildings elsewhere in the Albaicin area or up at the Alhambra itself that our hotel room was better. The breakfast was nice and the location was ideal for what we had come to Granada to see-- the Alhambra and historic parts of the city. It was exactly what we were looking for: traveling not only in space , but also in time. It was my favorite hotel room in my whole trip to Spain.

Location was superb, within walkable distance of the Alhambra & alongside the River Darro. The restoration of the hotel itself was exemplary. We had a real sense of history staying there. The reception staff were professional, helpful & well informed. Similarly the ladies who served breakfast were friendly & efficient.

We thought that the breakfast, given the price, could have offered more. A greater choice of fresh fruit, eggs & better pastries, would have gone down well. Also advance directions to the hotel, through the winding streets of the Albaycin were tricky to follow, although help was given when we contacted the Hotel by phone.

The Casa Morisca is exquisite. A beautifully renovated Moorish noble house, it feels like stepping back in time while enjoying all modern-day comforts you’d expect from a top quality hotel. I stayed in the Mirador room which has panoramic views of the Alhambra - how wonderful waking up to that view each morning! And a scrumptious breakfast is served in an amazing cave space on the lower ground floor. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back!

The hotel is in the old, historic neighbourhood of Albaicin, with a great view of the Alhambra. It is very easy to reach every major landmark on foot, while at the same time enjoying a quieter corner of town. We truly loved the traditional architecture of the establishment. The staff was kind and very helpful and the room very clean. We would definitively recommend.

For those who might need to do some online work, we found the wifi a bit slow and sometimes patchy, but it is probably due to the location, surrounded by hills.

Set in a beautifully restored 15th-century building in the heart of the Albaicín. While preserving its Moorish charm, the hotel offers all modern necessities, ensuring a cozy and convenient stay. Its location is unbeatable—within walking distance of the Alhambra, Sacromonte, the Cathedral, and many other must-see spots in Granada. The ambiance is peaceful, the staff is welcoming, and the views of the city and surrounding hills are breathtaking. A truly special place to experience the magic of Granada!

Loved the authenticity of this hotel, in terms of the architecture and the sense of history. Amazing location. Views to the Alhambra from our little balcony. Perfect location to enable us to walk everywhere and nip back to the hotel if we needed to. We drove here - and the drive is part of the experience - you simply can't expect to benefit from the location and the vibe without having to negotiate the tiny streets etc. The hotel supplies you with great directions, and we were able to have a parking space for our time here (limited parking right outside). The hotel really added to our stay in Granada. It is unique.

I stayed in room 15, and the view of the Alhambra was breathtaking. The ceiling was a custom carved wood replica of ceilings at the Alhambra. Nice touch. The a/c worked well, except in the bathroom, which was a very minor inconvenience. Plenty of storage for bags and clothing to stay out of sight. Linens were high quality. The room had a bidet, hallelujah. The walk to the Alhambra is up a very steep hill (wear athletic shoes), which I loved but might be a challenge for those with movement limitations. Quiet street walkable to lots of shops and restaurants. The dining room was beautiful and had delicious coffee and breakfast. Would recommend.

Instant coffee in the room. As I wrote, the fresh coffee in the dining room was excellent, but I'd rather not get dressed and ready to have coffee.

Beautiful, serene riad-style boutique hotel in perfect location. Views on the Alhambra from the window and a 20 minute walk through a lovely park. Peaceful and romantic. Right in the center, restaurants, shops etc all in the immediate vicinity. Free parking in front. Would come back in a heartbeat!

We booked the fanciest room and the jacuzzi wasn’t working & the bathtub didn’t plug properly, so that was a bit disappointing. Driving there is a bit nerve wracking (going through pedestrian streets) but the hotel sent perfect instructions and we made it without issues.

Great location in terms of being close to sights, restaurants etc. Just hard to drive to with google maps and hotel directions. Made for an interesting start to our vacation. It is in a restricted area. We did ask in advance for parking across from the hotel, which they did do for 5 euro/day, paid in cash in advance. Hotel has an open courtyard, but each room is air conditioned and was lovely. Only 14 rooms total. Enjoyed our stay!

Its authenticity was brilliant. The views of the Alhambra from room 15 were amazing. Incredibly clean. Bed really comfortable with lovely soft cotton sheets. Toiletries very good.

The WiFi was poor with no internet connection. And just a couple of very small things no lift use after 11pm, I completely understand the reason, noise travels in this old building and respecting other guests is important but it is a killer if you are on the third floor and been out all day walking especially at our age! English tea would have been great.
