Great location! Lots of perks. They greeted me with a complimentary bottle of chilled cava - that's godsend when you come in from the blistering heat! And they had a wonderful afternoon tea with goodies for all. Again these small things make the hotel very welcoming.

Like most hotels in Granada, you can,'t get here in a car. It is a small uphill trek (3-5 mins) to the hotel from plaza Nueva. And beware as in most parts of Granada and cordo a, Google maps will take you all over the place. I had the first room. It was gorgeous but noisy as Everytime someone walked by or entered the hotel, you could hear them. Avoid the first room and this place would be a geml

Reception staff who were friendly, very professional and helpful. Nothing was a bother. The concierge walked us to our taxi and insisted on carrying our bags, four in total, in the afternoon heat. The room was a twin bedded room as requested and very quiet. It was equipped with everything we needed, including hairdryer, robes, slippers, water, tea, and coffee. Beds were very comfortable, and linen was a nice quality. Breakfast was very adequate with lots of fresh fruit, yogurts etc., Cooked options were also available. Exceptional value for money in a very central but quiet location.

Style of courtyard and bedroom furniture at odds with the period of the building. Slightly more shower gel/ shampoo. Perhaps larger refillable containers rather than individual plastic bottles for sustainability.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Casa 1800 Granada! Our rooms had an incredible view of the Alhambra — truly unforgettable. The breakfast was delicious, the service was excellent, and we were even welcomed with a bottle of cava in our room, which was a lovely and generous touch. During our stay, there was a major electricity outage across Spain, but the team at Casa 1800 was outstanding. They supported us every step of the way, even when we didn’t have cash due to the blackout. Their kindness and professionalism made all the difference. We highly, highly recommend this beautiful hotel for anyone visiting Granada. Just a tip: if you are coming by car, plan ahead — you’ll need to park in the town, and it’s important to carefully read the hotel’s instructions beforehand to avoid any confusion. My mom and I stayed for 5 days in July. We LOVED it!!! The location was superb, so close to everything. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The house had a great historical feel to it. We were also pleasantly surprised by the daily afternoon tea. I still remember the taste of the delicious chocolate donut! We were also very moved when the hotel sent us a complimentary champagne for my birthday, which was so kind and thoughtful. Everything was amazing and exceeded our expectations. We would love to return someday. 100% recommend!

Staff was wonderful and hotel nice but it might need some little upgrades. I paid a premium price for my stay and was glad for the location but crowds for processions made exploring the surrounding city difficult. I visited Granada mostly to see the Alhambra but I had made a mistake on my tickets and was not permitted to enter. This was pretty disappointing. But I enjoyed visiting the Cathedral chapel. It was extremely beautiful and interesting but no guide information was provided in English. I would have learned more if guide materials in English were available.

Stunning sympathetic renovation of historical building in fabulous location. Our room was a small suite with comfortable seating area and beautiful little terrace. Comfortable beds and very clean room with dark shutters to keep out light. All staff were excellent - Elizabeth was so friendly and helpful.

This is a very minor comment but €4.50 for a small tub of Pringles (minibar) was a shock - we should have eaten them slower to savour them :) - however this is not a complaint as everything was amazing.

Stayed in this hotel for 1 night recently and honestly, was one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. Apparently, it dates from the 16th century and it is absolutely lovely. The staff were helpful and polite. There is a free afternoon tea every day from 4 - 6.30 with pastries, tea, coffee, filled rolls and fruit. We were made to feel so welcome and our room was also stunning. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The one and only thing I was not 100% happy with at this hotel was our room. As beautiful as it was, the problem was where it was situated. Past the reception area, there is a beautiful inside courtyard where the guests can sit, eat and socialise. Our room was directly off this courtyard. There was no natural light and we could hear guests coming and going from the early hours. Fabulous room, not well situated. I need natural light and fresh air. Unfortunately, this room had neither.

Very quaint, clean and well located hotel in old town Granada. The staff was amazing and very very attentive and kind. Overall, we are happy with our stay.

The AC doesn't really work in most rooms. We moved 3 rooms, but none of them worked very well. This was a lil disappointing for the $175/night cost, in the August summer heat. That said, the staff did everything they could to accommodate us. I think it's just that all hotels in old Granada have this issue.

Location is great, just two streets away from the center, and very close to the main attractions! very clean and has an amazing style. Everyone was sweet, the whole building is super atmospheric, probably the most impressive hotel I have stayed in a while, considering it was very very affordable! We had an amazing stay, and would definitely come back next time we are in Granada.

if you are not an early riser like us, I would suggest getting a room facing the street and not the inside patio, as the ambient music as well as noses from breakfast will be heard in your room during the day (it’s off in the afternoon so there was no issue going to sleep), this was the only issue, as we were trying to sleep in one day, but couldn’t as the above mentioned noises.

Excellent location. Beautiful courtyard. And really kind and helpful staff. They gave us great recommendations for the city. The property was ideally placed at a walking distance from the alhambra, albaicin and sacromonte. All of them are a bit of a hike up but all within walkable distance. We went in the middle of a heatwave and yet the rooms were really comfortable. The AC took a bit of time to cool but nevertheless it was great.
