Beautiful rooms! Great location to Camiño. Nice location to food and city atmosphere. Shampoo / conditioner / soap. Cafe on first floor. Spacious room. Cool air conditioner.

The sign on the room door stated “breakfast 7 to 9” with no euros listed, so we thought breakfast was included in the room. As we were checking out, the woman at the front desk yelled at us “you pay!! And pointed to the cafe” it was a little stearn and harsh. Since there is no table service at cafes, and servers don’t bring bills, customers are to initiate payment, and we felt she was implying we were trying to leave without paying.

We loved Hotel Boa Vila, for such an economical Hotel we thought it was incredible value for money. The lady at reception was a real gem. She bought our large bag upstairs, we had not asked her to, such kindness. Our room was clean, the bathroom was modern and clean, we had a small bar fridge which was handy for cold drinks and snacks. We really liked the high wooden ceilings, the stone walls, the room had lots of architectural charm. We were walking to Camino and were able to do our washing and drying at machines downstairs near reception, saving us more walking. The hotel is in the old atmospheric part of town, wonderful restaurants and shopping all around. This hotel should rate higher than 1 star, so don't be put off by the rating it's a gem.

This hotel was well positioned on the Camino route through Pontevedra & between many town squares that were buzzing with, people, restaurants, bakeries & shops. The hotel is basic but great value for money. There is no lifts, but a chair lift to the 1st floor - so you will need to carry luggage up the stairs. The bathroom was spacious with a really good shower with over head shower & body jets. The bed was really comfortable & the room was clean.

A tea station in the room with mugs & a kettle would be a great added bonus - especially for Camino walkers who would like a cup of tea. An additional light in the wardrobe would have also helped.

The hotel is centrally located with a small cafe attached where you can purchase a reasonably priced, straight forward breakfast. It’s perfect for pilgrims since I was greeted with a large cold bottle of water when I checked in which made a really great impression. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a lovely stay!

The smallest complaint is that there isn’t an elevator but I’m aware most of these older buildings can’t accommodate that.

Fantastic shower and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Clean. Fab high, wood-beamed ceiling. Ideal location (tip: when you see Burger King you're almost at the hotel - it's half a minute away). Friendly proprietor. Good value for money and a great location to explore lovely, (mostly) car-free Pontevedra. Another tip: If you're walking to the centre from the train/bus station, there's a largely pedestrianised street to the left of and parallel to the (traffic-heavy) main road that goes to the centre.

Explosive noise doors make when closing (courtyard-facing room was nice and quiet, though).

A great little hotel right on the Camino. Lots of character, spotlessly clean, lovely bathroom with great shower. A warm welcome and a large bottle of water (very welcome after a long walk). We slept well as the room was well ventilated and a fan was already switched on there. Our room had little natural light as it looked into an internal space but on the other hand it was very quiet. Our bags had arrived through the Correos service and had kindly been placed in our room. Breakfast in the adjoining cafe was very pleasant.

Heaps of historical character in the deluxe room we booked. Loved the underfloor heating, especially in the bathroom, the first time we'd experienced this after some cold nights spent in accommodation along the Camino. The room was well equipped with lounge seating and a fridge. There was no overspray from the shower onto the bathroom floor with a well sealed shower recess. Our host explained the key and security card facility carefully to us and was very caring despite our limited understanding of Spanish. Cafe downstairs opened early to cater for Pilgrims.

Hotel Boa Vila was so cute -- the woman at the front desk was so welcoming, and let us keep our bags at the front desk since we arrived early, and she even brought them to our room when the reservation was ready. The room was a comfortable size, had very comfortable beds, had a private bathroom, and was in the heart of Ponte Vedra (and along the route for the Portuguese Way).

There was nothing I didn't like -- Pontevedra is a hidden gem in Spain, with wonderful food, more wonderful Spanish people, beautiful beaches, and great shopping!

We arrived the day that Spain had no electricity. The host gave us chilled water and said to help ourselves if we needed more. The photos do not do the hotel justice. Much prettier than we expected. Great location right on the Camino and within easy walking distance to all the facilities in Pontevedra. The shower was particularly good. Hard to comment on more as there was no electricity when we stayed.

The location is excellent. It is in the centre of the old town near several beautiful old squares with lots of great bars and restaurants. The lady at reception is so very kind and helpful even giving us a free bottle of cold water on arrival and offering to help us up the stairs with our luggage The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. All you need for a short stay. Maricarmen
