The Garden are stunning. Well maintained. Views exceptional. Other amenities close by if travelling by car. This review starts by mentioning my experience with another site that unfortunately impacted my experience with this web site because booking.com couldn't accommodate my 3 nights stay on a half board basis. So on arrival I was allocated a room that Unfortunately was an attic room on L3 main hotel. Room no 305. Admittedly it was recently decorated & modern. Anyway the lovely concierge at reception moved us to the other side of the hotel grounds the older garden area with a beautiful view and balcony and fridge and bathroom toiletries but no shower cap. He absolutely went above and beyond. It's my first time ever complaining about a room to be perfectly honest. I would consider it again because this is the room I did reserve through the booking.com site. This hotel is stunning. It's spotless. We used the cafe in the beautiful garden during our stay. The Food was good and the drinks were reasonably priced. Plenty of parking when events aren't on which are mostly during the summer season. There Is parking in the village a few hundred meters away. Spa facilities are highly promoted but we didn't use those. The location is perfect for a drive to the beach in Saunces. Or a trip up to the commercial centre in Santander. Great relaxing stay before we headed home to the UK from Santander. I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Half board is a great option the food in the restaurant is exceptional and the presentation is just beautiful. The staff are all wonderful and some speak fluent English. My reason for booking this hotel is the location to Santander and its a 4* with a huge pool as the weather had been 38 degrees at time of booking but dropped to 20 ish degrees/ intermittent clouds but that was a welcome change

Great location and easy parking. Lots of amenities on site, but I used few. I did opt for a massage, excellent! Ate 1x at cafeteria. Huge salad! Great waitstaff! Great hot showers and fluffy towels!

Mattress rather extra firm. I do like firm mattress but Spain tends to have very firm. This hotel was similar to others, so not unexpected based on prior hotels earlier in my trip. Walls thin. I had noisy neighbors in 105 last night. Talking loudly until nearly 1am! Many voices, so they apparently had guests over. Earlier, they were on the balcony, pretty loud, too.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the room was smart and clean. The location was attractive. I was given a secure location to store my bicycle which I appreciated.

Breakfast wasn't a great experience for this level of hotel. The breakfast room was not very large and there were many people and it was very hectic. Coffee was from machines at which there were often queues of people. (Breakfast was organised over 3 one hour sittings, and you were advised to book a specific sitting in advance.)

later found out most rooms have single beds and doubles are very limited. If that’s the case, it should be clearly stated during booking—most likely, you’ll get single beds. Setting proper expectations matters. Also, the rooms feel outdated and could use a refresh.

Good overall condition, modern room & facilities.

No character or charm. Very little within walking distance, no shops, eateries, pharmacy etc.

The Jardin restaurant was a wonderful surprise- very elegant food, fabulous service and very reasonable. The grounds were lovely and the setting was gorgeous.

It’s in need of some updating- the bathroom counter was delaminating and the towels were old. The bar was only open Friday and Saturday. No kleenex or coffee facilities in the room and you had to order room service for ice.

Fabulous hotel, super clean and comfortable in a great location. It has everything you might want for a great break: large outdoor pool, lovely gardens, great location in the village and beautiful rooms. Good food in the restaurant and lot’s of choice for breakfast. The Temple de la Agua and massages are very enjoyable. It is expensive, but worth it for a splurge.

The food in the Cafeteria was variable. I had one really good meal there and one less good. Everything else was brilliant.

The food, the room, the spa and the location almost every thing.

We stayed at regimen of all included and when we went to the restaurant we found out that we had to pay for drinks. Very very disappointed about it. I will never stay at all included regime in this hotel if one day I come back.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The pool area is simply amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The piano bar is a relaxing place to end your day and the pianist was amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're in the area.

The aircon seemed a little underwhelming but that may well have been user error 🙈

Fantastic place to spend a few days! The spa facilities are lovely. The outdoor pool is great. Staff are helpful. Breakfast had a good selection and the rooms were very comfortable.

For people who like very quiet rooms, you can hear people on the corridors closing doors etc. I didn’t mind, but it might bother light sleepers.
