The hotel is in a fabulous location surrounded by sea on 3 sides as it sits on a peninsula. The beach is sandy and the sea turquoise and clear. The rooms are adequate, not luxurious but all that you need for a beach holiday. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is lovely with fresh fruit, freshly baked pastries and a good selection on offer. It is in a quiet fairly secluded spot especially in the evenings although there is a walkway along the beach into Es Pujols which is a busy, thriving little town. During the day the beach directly outside the hotel's cafe is very popular with visitors which can make it tricky to get a sunbed. I first came here in 1984 and have returned many times since. This is my happy place and I love it here.

The first room we were allocated had very poor outside space and we had to ask to be moved. It can be difficult to find a free sunbed on the beach outside the hotel. The outside gardens and pool area would be markedly improved if the artifical turf was replaced with some nice sandstone.

Loved the location , breakfast was great , staff was great , beaches were close . We really enjoyed our stay !

Although we loved the location and the views were great, it lacked a little love in the decoration department, plants and planters could use a little revamp :)

The fact the reception were so helpful particularly  Monica . Loved the way it was a little away from the crowd. Get room always cleaned well each day. Fab pool which was quiet. Wonderful breakfast. Awesome views from the hotel. Magic place thank you

The location, is almost perfect under my point of view. Far from the city but close to the Restaurants

The pool is very old fashion for this kind of hotel. I think they should consider to renew all the yard zone.

This was our second stay at Roca Bella and won’t be our last . We just love the location. Surrounded by sea on three sides. Always a free lounger around the pool. Friendly staff and spotlessly clean . We also ate every night in the hotel restaurant which is beside the beach .

Perhaps tidy the quadrangle area with some more plants .

The hotel was situated on a peninsula so it was like being on a boat . Sea on three sides . Our room was very modern and was in a new part of the hotel . It was cleaned every day and we had fresh towels every other day . We were on the ground floor and had a side sea view . The pool had amazing sea views and never busy as visitors generally seek out the amazing beaches dotted all over island There was a good variety of hot and cold dishes at breakfast and in the evening we ate mostly at the hotel beachside restaurant as it was right on the beach and the food was delicious . Es Pujols where the hotel is situated ,is a small town surrounding a curved bay. The beach is sandy and the sea clear and many shades of blue and green . We have visited Formentera before and love the island . We will definitely stay in Hotel Roca Bella again.

The courtyard garden looked a bit tired and could be updated

Great location right next to the sea, very nice breakfast and friendly staff. Rooms looking at rhe sea.

The price is very high for a one star hotel which I guess is high everywhere in Formantera. Extra charge and deposit for the safety box is unnecessary.

Friendly staff, happy to help with everything, great tips for trips. Good breakfast, gluten free treats upon asking! Nice and cozy room, balcony with a nice view over the bay. Couldnt believe it’s just 1 star! Outside pool also very nice and clean. Sandy and nice beach right next to the doors to the hotel.

fabulous location, with a short walk to restaurants and shops . beautiful beach right in front of the hotel with great views of the sea surrounding the hotel the staff were so friendly and helpful . sunbeds at the pool overlooking the sea , just idyllic .loved our stay here
