The staff of the hotel were very helpful and friendly and went out of the way to accommodate us. We had a very nice snack in the bar and were given a free glass of wine! We had a great room with a large outside patio with great views of the countryside at the back of the hotel, away from the motorway traffic! Unfortunately, we decided not to have breakfast at the hotel but in hindsight we should have had going by the quality of the bar snack that we had had the previous night. I would highly recommend this hotel as a stop off on your journey north.

There was nothing that we could say that we didn't like about this hotel except there from a faulty bulb but this was a very minor issue.

Very friendly staff - all of them without exception. Even though they did not speak much English, we managed to communicate just fine. After breakfst, I wanted to buy a pastry from the bar counter and the waiter gave me a container with 3 different pastries as complementary - did not accept payment! The view from the restaurant (indoors) is very nice even though the hotel is just off the highway. They also sell various local products - olives, cheese, cured meats, baked goods, which was very fun to try! Ample free parking at the propery, and next door to a gas station to refuel before hitting the road. Also close (by car) to some hikes in the area. Overall, a nice stay with extremely hospitable staff and very affordable price. Would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was very modest (but also cheap - about 4EUR per person) consisting of coffee, orange juice, a giant toasted chunk of bread, and tomato spread, butter, and jam. Plus some cheese and ham. Maybe there was a way to add extras at extra cost but the language barrier got in the way. Still, the waiter was very friendly and offered us more coffee and asked if we needed anything else. The other food at the restaurant that we tried for dinner was ok but not impressive: the salad had quite a few bad leaves in it although the portion was big, as well as some cartilage pieces in the chicken, and we were brough two giant chunks of bread (0.9EUR each) even though we did not order them. No fridge in the room.

Good location, very quiet with fabulous countryside views from our balcony. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good food in the restaurant with great service

Bedroom was ok but a bit run down. The curtains and pelmet’s were well past their best and very shabby and torn. Hot water an issue as it ran cold very quickly.

Location by the motorway, but rooms in the backside quiet. Nice views also. Free parking in front of hotel. Our motobikes were there for 2 days without problems. Very nice scenic route just in the corner, I think it was road JA7100. Also restaurant on site

Piping needs to be renew! Had to put used toilet papers in the bin

The service was efficient and very friendly with good menu selection. The location was perfect for a road trip south. The beds were comfortable and the room very clean and spacious. Able to bring our dog which was a bonus.

Location, staff, breakfast, grand hotel interior. 63 euros Inc breakfast is exceptional value. 7 euros extra for our dog. Try getting a room in a hotel for that in UK or Ireland.

Strange noises in the night in room 109. Sounded like birds on the roof and loud. Mentioned it to a member of staff the following morning but didn't understand his explanation. Needs sorting out. Otherwise the room was spacious, clean if a little dated.

Ok it’s a little bit tired, but excellent value for money

This was a good stopover hotel for us. Big rooms so plenty of room for us and the dogs, two big Labradors! . Room was a bit old fashioned but spotlessly clean . Breakfast was very simple but OK for us as not big breakfast people so a coffee and tostada was enough to get us on our way. Good value for money hotel very close to the motorway so perfect location was a stopover on our way home. Best of all the staff were great and very helpful.

Nothing really but no good dog walking around the hotel, which of course is not the Hotels fault.

This hotel is perfect for stop over if travelling deeper into Spain ,people working there super polite and friendly, breakfast is beyond basic but no real complaints as price for stay is fair ,will definitely use again ,finding hotel was difficult first time ( poor direction given by booking.com advert ) of course is simple once you have found

Very convenient stopover en route by bike to Valdepenas. Big comfortable room, including room for bike. Food and drink available all day.Helpful staff.
