We liked everything! From when we first arrived the lady on reception was very welcoming and gave us recommendations for restaurants and tapas. The hotel decor is very cosy and relaxing and the bed was comfortable. Every where in the hotel is very clean and fresh at all times. We enjoyed the pool area and the bar had nice tasty options for lunch. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and it always felt very relaxed in the mornings. All of the staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. Our first time visiting Tossa de Mar and we loved it and plan on visiting again soon and staying at Hotel Windsor Tossa!

This is a lovely hotel and we were really impressed with all aspects of our stay. We booked a superior double room overlooking the pool and that is exactly what we got. We didn't notice any noise at night and it meant we had the sun on our balcony in the afternoon and evening. The room was very clean and spacious with regular housekeeping visits from the staff. My wife and I had slightly mixed feelings about the bed, which I thought was very comfortable though she felt it a little hard, I didn't share my thoughts about our own bed with her which she loves :) One thing we did like was that we could access our Netflix account through the room TV for the odd evening when we just wanted to chill out in the room. Breakfast at the hotel was amazing, with a wide range of different foods to cater to all tastes and it was lovely to have it by the pool side. During the day 1200-1600 there was a lunch menu available with some very nice salads, sandwiches and burgers etc and the bar was open through into the night. The pool area was again delightful and a bit like getting into a luke warm giant bath, plus there were ample sunbeds and it was only once we had to wait for one in the 9 nights stay and then not for long. Without exception all the staff were helpful and friendly and we were given good advice about the local area and restaurants. We would give a social mention to Stevie at the bar as she was particularly helpful with local advice and very engaging, but all the staff were great. It was also helpful that as we arrived well before checkin time we could store our luggage and go exploring for a few hours prior to check in. Also our transport was some hours after check out but we were able to store our luggage and have a last few hours by the pool. The location of the hotel is excellent, a 5 minute walk to the beach and 15 to the castle, with lots of shops and restaurants in the close vicinity.

It is fair to say there is nothing we disliked about this hotel.

The hotel is very centrally located in Tossa, lots of bars and restaurants nearby and 5 minutes walk to the sea front. The staff are exceptional in this hotel, all very friendly and efficient. In particular Stevie from Dundee is great, like the other staff, she goes out of her way to look after you. The room was very clean and had excellent air con which was very much needed this week as temps were 30C plus. We did not have a balcony room but wish we had.

Just two minor issues. There was a socket in the open cupboard for tea and coffee making facilities but no kettle, cups etc. It looks like these have been removed at some point. Eggs every day at breakfast were scrambled only, no fried, poached or boiled. Unfortunately you never saw the chef. In many hotels there is an 'egg station' to cover these issues and also make omelettes. This would not stop me from going to the Windsor again but it would be great if other egg options were available,

This is a fabulous boutique hotel in a perfect location with excellent facilities . The breakfast choices are amazing with everything from cereals to cooked options and all things in between. There a lovely little touches like a beach bag with pool towels for a €10 deposit saves packing either particularly when you’re handluggage only . The bathroom has some lovely amenities and the hairdryer is good too! Coffee machine with espresso pods are provided well they were in our superior room. Plus fresh water daily. The staff were all lovely from reception to restaurant to bar . Stevie in particular is an asset.

Nothing to dislike

The breakfast was really nice with the diverse food and drinks. Really good bar near the pool with fair prices. We could stay there until night, so it was pretty comfortable. The location was as well not on the loud street but pretty close to the beach, all shops, and restaurants for lunch and dinner. And really extra + for the staff who were always nice and kind

I didn’t like that rooms for three people didn’t have a balcony. For the sea and beach vocation the balcony would be a great advantage

We loved the pool is exceptionally kept, it was an ideal temperature and clean. the atmosphere around the pool with the bar and the staff was very relaxing. The staff helped make our stay comfortable and ideal for a summer holiday. The room was perfect and was cleaned every day which made the whole experience feel a bit more luxury.

The breakfast had a lot of choice however the quality wasn't incredible, the prices for lunch were quite steep considering the portions sizes, however the food was noticeably of a higher quality than of breakfast.

Our room was beautiful, clean and modern with a view of the pool (not all rooms have this view but we booked a year in advance and put in a request for it) The breakfast was plentiful, we had mainly meat cheese pastries and fruit as the cooked breakfast wasn't to our taste. The location is absolutely prefect, less than 2 or 3 minutes walk to everything including the town castle and beaches.

The house keeping was excellent in the first week but it dropped off slightly in the second with towels hardly ever being replaced. We didn't bother to raise it as it wasn't a big deal. Although the breakfast was good the bar snacks at lunchtime were dire - mainly deep fried or smothered in mayonnaise.

Very friendly staff who made me feel comfortable and welcome. The hotel is lovely. The decor and furnishings are comfortable and classy. The bar/ lounge space is comfortable and a good use of space. The pool area is spacious and well equipped with loungers. The pool is large and very clean. Breakfast was outstanding. The staff on breakfast duty worked so hard and kept on top of everything. They also ensured to give guests a smile and Buen dia each day. My bed was comfortable. The shower was great. The room had a big terrace and drying rack. There was cleaning offered daily. Great value for money. Well located in the middle of everything, yet in a quiet street. I was never disturbed at night. Thank you for a really relaxing and enjoyable few days.

I have only positive things to say.

This is an amazing hotel in a superb location for all facilities and I would recommend it to anyone. It was clean, comfortable, the staff obviously enjoyed their jobs and were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet selection was second to none and constantly replaced. The pool area was spotless and there was entertainment on some nights. They had a TV in the indoor bar area and accommodated us watching the Euros football. There is a small car park and you can pre-book parking. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Tossa is relatively small resort, feeling very safe and family friendly with lots to do.

I can’t think of anything to be honest.

I really appreciated the lovely interiors and layout of the hotel. The fact it was adults only is a major plus! The cocktails were gorge!

It was so conveniently located near the centre, which was great and worked for us! One of the days when we were relaxing by the pool, you could hear motorbikes & building work going on outside of the area. This can’t be helped & of no fault to the hotel but just so people are aware if they are looking for a 100% zen meditation location!
