We arrived just when their restaurant was about to close aftr lunch and they held it open so we could order lunch, which was delicious. Our room was very nice and since we asked for twin beds they gave us a room with a second room off to the side and 2 steps up. The town of Vejer is a hidden gem and less touristy than Ronda and Arcos. It's charming and there is quite a lot to see there. The Tugasa, a former convent has lots of character and is well located. Free parking in the bus station lot.

Steep walk up the hill with suitcases but that's not their fault!

Beautiful large room, large comfortable bed. Nice pillows and good linen. Great night porter. Reception at check in was ok - we think she was new staff. Parking is €18 in their private garage.

Unfortunately the room doors open on to a patio that is inaccessible. Bit strange. Minor issues; One bottle of water between two. No mats or slippers which would have been appreciated. We also booked a double room which was a twin bed. The only way to get a double bed was to upgrade which was irritating. However the double room was much much nicer!

Good basic breakfast. Really helpful . who happily provide extra coffees and water . Room was spotless every day. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Lovely position close to many restaurants. Comfortable beds and pillows. Overall delightful restful hotel.

Shame safe was not useable and didn’t get repaired. Offered another better room but on a different floor and couldn’t be bothered to pack. Bathroom small and dated. Walk in shower would be better for elderly guests

Excellent location, really very nice and helpful staff. We were off season (mid Dec) and there were almost no tourists but the bar - restaurant and the terrace appeared to be a place for local people to gather and have a drink. This made it a very authentic place with a nice atmosphere. Perfect beds (not too hard as happens too often...). At 2-3 minutes the restaurant options were plenty.

Just one thing: the breakfast was a bit basic, the cheese was very young and they served bacon which we don't take for breakfast, so there was basically jam from small plastic single-use containers. From the sustainability point of view this place would greatly benefit from joining the Good Travel Program...

Location great right in the center of town. However a bit noisy on the Saturday night - am sure this a was a party at the hotel that was making the noise - ie not street noise.

On the night of the party the bar closed early and we could not get a night cap or coffee in the hotel bar, however the night before they more than happy to accommodate us. Really need to have Tea & Coffee facilities in the room, expecially if the bar is to close early! No hair dryer in the room.

Lovely hotel in a converted convent with a comfortable room and quality bed linens. Helpful staff and good buffet breakfast. Free parking next to the tourism office at the bottom of the hill. Nice shops and restaurants nearby in this beautiful hilltop pueblo blanco with nice views of the surrounding area. Beaches in Conil and El Palmar were an added bonus.

We booked the room the day we arrived after a weary journey. The room was large and airy with a large comfortable bed and nice fittings. The bathroom was very good. We were within one minute walk of restaurants but the location was quiet enough so no loud street noise. We ate our breakfast, which was good with excellent coffee, outside overlooking the street. The building has charm and history, we didn’t even mind the two flights of stairs to our second floor room. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and polished. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant. A must stay in Vejer.

There was nothing to improve regarding the hotel. All was perfect. Vejer was a lot more busier than all our previous visits over the years, I think the secret is out of the bag.

It couldn't have been better placed - right in the heart of the old town. The Feast of the Ascension parade passed right underneath my balcony ! (Front/North facing) As it's an old convent there's a real sense of history about it, i felt i was in an authentic part of Andalucia, not a tourist trap.

There's nothing you couldn't like about it ! Tbh the shower and the wifi were a little temperamental - but in a building of this age, in such a beautiful situation in an old town, these minor things were of little importance. I felt very fortunate and priveleged to have stayed here.

Spacious, clean, comfortable and sympathetically decorated/furnished room in a characterful former Franciscan monastery which retains many original historic features, located within the Old Town. Good bathroom facilities, if slightly dated. Very quiet, despite central location. Impressive panoramic views of the sierras from my bedroom window. Very good buffet breakfast, with varied selection of hot and cold options. All of the staff I encountered (reception, catering, cleaning) during my stay were very approachable, friendly and helpful. The most convenient free car parking is available in the extensive car park behind the bus station in Avenida Los Remedios, some 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Great location to see everything Verja de la frontera has to offer. Jan was windy and we had some rain but it’s a beautiful place to vist. Everyoy need at or close to the hotel.

Arrival was a bit confusing as the streets are narrow and we are not sure if we could go down some streets. But we fiqured it out.
