Near to good bars, restaurants and the food market. The town is on a hilltop, so lovely views of the area. Walking around the town includes steep inclines, so you need to be reasonably fit. We arrived by bus, it was a 10-15 minute walk from the bus stop. We chose to walk , but Luisa had offered to pick us up. We gratefully accepted the offer of a free ride back to the bus stop to ensure that we didn’t miss the bus. Communication was excellent, everyone very friendly. We were lucky to stay in Vejer on Carnival weekend - so much fun!

Nothing that we didn’t like. However, Vejer de La Frontera is quite physically demanding so not suitable for anyone who struggles with mobility. There is no lift in the property, but again not a problem for us.

Beautiful historic building. Excellent bathroom. Fantastic, kind staff. Good location.

My room was not as nice as the ones shown. The buildings in Vejer are historic and because of this, windows in some are limited. I enjoy a very bright, sunny room which this did not offer.

Local and simple breakfast delightfully served by staff in the quiet courtyard. The location could not be better. The transfers from and to the car park so swift and courteous. The most amazing views from a spacious, beautiful room.

Wifi didn’t seem to work for us but we didn’t pay and it wasn’t a problem for our circumstances.

Lovely, spacious and elegant simple room with two French doors opening onto small balconies. Great atmosphere and a good bed for two fairly tall people - often an issue for us. Fantastic breakfast in a wonderful inner courtyard and served by the most delightful smiley person.

Shower cubicle a bit fragile bit shower itself was great.

It is in a brilliant location in the centre of town and as it had no parking we were offered free pick up from a recommended car park which was also free of charge. Very helpful and friendly lady on reception.

Nothing to dislike really. It’s an old building with a lot of character and looks it. Room very cold on entry but soon warmed up. Breakfast adequate but coffee could have been better.

Central location. Fabulous views from our suite. Really good complimentary breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

Only criticism is that the bathroom was very cold (mid-January) a heated towel rail would have made our morning showers much more pleasant.

Very interesting apartments. Feel like an aristocrat with a wonderful view from the windows and a mini old terrace. Of course, these are not super comfortable apartments, but that's not the main thing!

- we found it a bit overpriced for what it offered, but have no other major complaints.

Room was rustic which was fine. Air cond worked well. Bed was comfortable. Good location.

The breakfast was largely prepackaged and difficult for a vegetarian in a meat obsessed country, but maybe this reflects the cost/quality equation.

Great location and contact with the host. The room was big and convenient. Spanish breakfast was really lovely!

The open-air patio where the breakfast is served is charming, but may be a little chilly in wintertime.
