magnificent building, helpful staff

The refurbishment didn’t reflect the grandeur of the historic building. It was clean, but the finish felt cheap. The bathroom was particularly frustrating — the sink was so shallow that using it made water splash everywhere. The shower controls were confusing, and I ended up soaking myself just trying to turn on the hand-held shower. The fixtures were meant to be stylish, but they weren’t practical or comfortable to use. (Although admittedly it happens in most hotels nowadays...)

Location great if your on a motorbike as its a bit out of town. So if you want to go into town you have to get back on your bike. However it would be fine if you have a car. And they did have a restaurant with a fxed menu. Don't let my comments regarding the location put you off. I would definitely stay again. And when all is said and done, it had a bar and a restaurant.

Hotel is located in gorgeous older home in mint condition.Space everywhere, large bedroom, very good breakfast served until late in nice room w/ outside are, manicured grounds w/ free parking, beautiful pool area. Restaurant in premises w/ affordable prices.

You have to drive to go anywhere, no restaurants, walks near by. The closer cities are not very interesting, just big buildings and parking lots. Price was high but the hotel is good and it’s August.

Comfortable room, friendly host and spectacular building. Swimming pool was very welcome after hot days exploring the area.

Dinner was amazing on the first night when the restaurant was busy and they obviously knew lots of people were eating in the restaurant, but not so good when the number of customers eating in reduced. We were the only people one night. So we went out too after that.

We took a chance to explore Spain and try somewhere new. Vilagarcia de Arousa was less commercial than other places - which was great. We got a real authentic feel from the hotel. As non Spanish speakers, we appreciated how the staff at the hotel could accommodate many different languages. The pool was also fabulous. There was a good selection of food on site.

There was nothing to dislike

Absolutely gorgeous hotel just 5 mins drive outside Vilanova de Arousa. Hotel reception staff were so helpful and friendly. Rooms were beautiful and spacious.

Only disappointment was that the pool wasn't open yet

Location was a little in the middle of no where for English speakers
