Being on the edge of the Doñana National Park made this a very special stay. Nature all around with gorgeous birds coming up close and even saw a lynx! Went on a brilliant bird tour deep into the park. upgraded to a larger cottage with two sofas and three bedrooms. Small but very comfortable bedroom. the restaurant is a treat and incredibly popular especially at weekends.

The bathroom was a bit tired and not really up to the standard you expect for the cost. Whilst we were there a family ignored all the regulations about noise and ball playing etc. I think regulations re use of poll and grounds should be on the interesting notes sent to guests. This is not really a child friendly hotel and maybe the management should consider a child age restriction for stays if they want to retain the hotel's unique peace and link with nature.

Beautiful, spacious accommodation with a lovely green garden. Wonderful pool and comfortable sunbeds. Extremely hygienic. Great view from the room. Nice shampoo and shower gel provided. Very friendly staff. The chic restaurant sometimes felt a bit "over the top," but the quality was good. Located on the edge of the stunning Doñana National Park! Tip: Book a local guide for a private tour to search for the Iberian lynx, such as DonanaWings or Ojosdedonana.

Little to complain about. Tip: place a kettle in the room. As birdwatchers, we went out early every day, so the ability to make coffee ourselves would have been nice since breakfast starts later.

Really charming, rustic style hotel with a small but lovely pool area. The food was excellent and the restaurant staff extraordinary. Big thank you to lovely Cosima (not sure that was her name!) serving breakfast and lunch, for accommodating my special diet and for being so so so nice. Mari Carmen at reception was also lovely and really helpful. The hotel sent us an email before arrival with suggestions for things to do which i found very useful. We did the horse riding and really enjoyed it. Also visited Italica, which i didn't know was in the area but it was mentioned in the information email sent by the hotel.

I didn't like the mosquitos! Although not the hotel's fault, obviously. The rooms were very clean and had a charming balcony facing a lake with ducks which was lovely to look at but the water and greenery attracted all kinds of insects. I'm allergic to mosquito bites, so I brought with me repellent spray and electrical plug, and that worked.

We love the cottages and particularly liked the one we had this time which provided us with peace and tranquility in the beautiful grounds, whilst being close to the hotel and its really good restaurant. Very nice staff. We have stayed here several times before and will do so again. Recommended. A great place to relax. Great birdwatching at the Dehesa de Abajo, the rice fields nearby and at El Rocio, which never fails to amaze.

The cottage was very cold when we arrived in December. Bearing in mind we were asked for (and we confirmed) our time of arrival, it would would have been a nice thought to have put the heating on a couple of hours beforehand, as it took a long time to warm the cottage up.

The setting was beautiful and we were reminded of an African safari. Just missing the animals. Beautiful food for dinner. Junior suite was lovely. Pool area was very quiet and relaxing.

The spa bath in the room was lovely but the wall tiles could do with a bit of a scrub. Not a good selection of toiletries and breakfast was a little sparse for the price. Dinner was a little overpriced but good and the sample of cherry liquor was beautiful.

Room was lovely and the patio was a great bonus. Restaurant was really good. Staff very helpful, particularly when I was trying to organise how to get to the hotel, and arranged taxi for me from Sevilla.

As I was going out each day to look for lynx, I was never able to have breakfast as it didn’t start until 8am.

Beautiful place, with a big garden or wild park. Like an african lodge. Nice restaurant with good meals and fine breakfast. Room was fine with a small private terrace. Nice birds in the garden and area - fine location for exploring the many birding places in Donana

the staff very kind and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast with typical products. excellent size of the room and cleanliness. Although the swimming pool is not large, it is located in the middle of the greenery, an oasis of peace

The only problem is that if you have the room near the restaurant you hear the noises of the diners, including children until 01:00 at night and that if the pool hosts 5 couples with children playing ball and diving, which is forbidden , is no longer an oasis of peace

The pool is perfect, a shallow part for young kids and deeper part as well, clean and refreshing water. Bungalows have everything you need, separate quiet AC units in every room. The restaurant is open and dinner and breakfast are served, good quality and plenty of options for everyone and for kids they accept the kid wishes. Area is quiet and surrounding is good for a walking trip, we took 10 circle at first towards to the river and then back through the village, where we found a local bar to serve refreshing drinks and then back to the hotel.

The accommodation is fantastic because it combines integration and respect for nature, where we can interact with animals, with ducks being very present, with good facilities (the bungalows are large and have everything you need for a great stay) and a very good restaurant. I recommend it!
