The staff were amazing and the facilities were good. The staff went over and above to prepare me take away breakfast every morning as I had to leave the hotel before they started serving breakfast.

The entry in the car park is a bit difficult but this is a town centre hotel so a tight squeeze is to be expected. There were a few buildings around the hotel which were under refurbishment but this had nothing to do with the hotel.

We needed a hotel that was a reasonable price with a secure parking garage. We had stayed in this hotel a few times before in its previous existence. It suited our needs so very happy with it.

For its location and prestige past being offered 'Just Eat' as the only option for in-house dinner was a little disappointing.

A very good location, within easy walking distance of Zamora's very beautiful monuments and, in the other direction, handy to pintxos and tapas bars frequented by locals. Excellent service from reception and very helpful with safe parking for our bicycles.

Not a complaint - it was a large room but the only natural light was from a skylight ( top floor of hotel).

We loved the location, very easy to walk everywhere. Surrounded by places to eat and drink beautiful local wines. The local history is fascinating. The room is very elegant and comfortable. Great breakfast and helpful friendly staff.

Everything was fine. The location was excellent and we enjoyed both the room and the breakfast

I didn't like having to step into a bath for the shower. Having arthritis makes stepping into baths difficult. Also the bath was slippery so we put a spare towel in the base of the bath.

Underground parking, €11 two motorcycles in one bay, direct access by lift to hotel lobby. Good location to walk out and see historic centre. Hotel has a lovely old fashioned style.

Neither fridge in the two rooms worked very much, glad we didn't need them.

if you like old period properties you will like this! lots of original features, stained glass etc. very friendly helpful welcome from reception.

the hotel still has its previous name in large signage you can read from far away. the newer name (hotel Alda mercado de Zamora) is on a tiny sign by the main entrance. A little faded in some areas.

i liked the fact that it was very quiet, even though there was some type of construction/ remodelling done in the hotel. i loved that i was able to work from my room, but also using the lounge area. Clean room, big bed even though it was a single room, huge bathroom!

i did not like that it did not have a coffee pot/ coffee machine in the room.

Great location, walking distance to everything Marco and Paula at Reception were wonderful Great value and spacious and clean room, loved it!

An old fashioned Spanish hotel, central, quiet, very clean, huge room and sitting room for 63 euros with garage parking for a modest charge. Very courteous and helpful staff. Liked the inlaid wood ?early 20th century furniture. Don’t come here if you want modern, anonymous, ‘could be anywhere’ hotel but we loved it for its style and authenticity.
