In general, this place looks like an oasis in Sri Lanka. Beautiful nature spots, fascinating design, cozy rooms, responsive staff, lots of adventures to take. Comfortable location to go to Sigiria and other great places. Mixed kitchen breakfast. The room was upgraded and the room service was perfect.

Wi-Fi didn't work at all. Had a bad experience with cash payment. The first hotel which accepts USD, but converts the whole price in LKR, not only change (seems like their system accepts only LKR). Without telling about it. I noticed that because of a very strange thing: we paid for a short tour with this hotel, but in Sigiriya. There we paid in USD for the tour and changed 30$ for 10.000LKR. And 1 h later, when we come back to pay the hotel, they changed 27$ for 6.900LKR. So, be careful.

The room was massive and super comfortable with a great view of the lake. Wad a pleasure to wake up to every morning. The staff was also wonderful.

The food really wasn't very good. Not terrible , but nothing to look forward to.

A 3 night stay in Jan 25. The room (suite) on 4th floor was vast with a huge outside terrace overlooking the lake. Very comfortable and quiet. The food is first rate, we ate at the main restaurant which is buffet in the evenings but with very good quality food and a wide range of choices. The wine choice/availability is better than most in Sri Lanka. The gym is well equipped and has treadmills so you can avoid running on Sri Lankan roads (vital if you want to live). Room service is very prompt and efficient. The staff are lovely and very helpful.

The pool looks wonderful but you cant actually swim in it if you are 1.8m tall as it is too shallow.

Pool: The infinity pool was a highlight of our stay, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. It was immaculately maintained and provided a serene environment to relax and unwind. Whether it was an early morning dip or a refreshing swim under the evening sky, the experience was magical. Dinner: The dining experience was another standout feature. Each evening, we enjoyed gourmet meals crafted with the freshest ingredients. The staff was attentive and happy to accommodate special requests, making each meal memorable. The ambiance of the restaurant, paired with the exquisite flavors, was truly unforgettable. Overall, Jetwing Lake is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and natural beauty. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a tranquil and indulgent retreat. We can’t wait to return!

Pool was fabulous. Staff was very friendly. Room was very comfortable.

Buffet was just ok. I would have preferred higher quality and better variety with an a la cart menu. One night there were many kids in the restaurant and they were touching food and then not taking it in the dessert room. Having so many people touching all the serving utensils wasn’t great to watch. I would rather have staff dish out the food. A lot of variety in the buffet but didn’t think the food tasted that good at dinner. Breakfast was better. Staff in the dining room were excellent!

Do not think that this is a chain hotel or that it looks large and bland. It is actually anything but. The staff are incredibly switched on to customer satisfaction: Tara the GM appeared twice at our table at different times to make sure we had perfection. Our room was large and deliciously cool. The bed was marshmallow comfortable. We relaxed by birdwatching at the lake ( plus recommend the guided birdwatching). Loved the huge pool, played petanque and loved the food. Best breakfast hoppers of our trip and we have sampled more than a few. We called this our big boutique hotel as when the tour groups leave each morning, we had it virtually to ourselves. It is a good base for Dambulla cave temple and Sigiriya. Am very impressed with Jetwing for eco-conscious policies and truly professional customer service.

Beautiful view of the lake from our room and also the pool. Lovely spa and the food was delicious both breakfast buffet, evening buffet and the a la carte menu.

The only thing I would comment on was that the room we had didn’t really comfortably sleep 4 people. One spare bed was bought in but the sofa was made up as the 4th bed, which was ok for a couple of nights for our 10 year old - but wouldn’t be so great for longer stays or older teens.

So beatiful and calmly place. Lake area is gorgeous and the view is stunning. Staff is helpful and friendly in every way. We booked at first only one night, but the we extended for 3 more days. Rooms were quiet big and comfortable. Clean and the food was ok, but not that special like we got in the rest of the country.

The building from outside is "efficient" but does not fit in this sourounding at all. But thats only from outside.

A mix of oriental and western breakfast options. The staff was super friendly and helpful There was some confusion about the beds for the children but that was also quickly resolved The swimming pool is huge and more than welcome after visiting the temples. We could have stayed much longer
