Amazing retreat about 20 minutes from Haputale in the mountains. The rooms are spacious round huts, fully equipped with bathroom and a Verrada with breathtaking views. All is brand New and is very Clean. As we have been here off season, one is nearly alone all day. we had booked half Board and the food was delicious and plenty. Also the staff was very helpful and attentive and friendly. Perfect for day trips and hiking, but keep in mind it’s a bit in the middle of nowhere. The hotel was very helpful to organize transportation at reasonable rates. I would definitely recommend this hotel, also for a longer, relaxed stay, it has an amazing infinity pool.

We were charged the full amount due of our five day stay, three Minutes after Arrival. That felt very awkward. Property is a bit far away from everything, so add 20 minutes extra to every tuktuk ride to go anywhere.

We had a great stay at the Dream Cliff Mountain Resort. The staff was genuinely the nicest, sweetest and most accommodating people - and went above and beyond to make our stay as great as possible. The pools are amazing and the view is breathtaking. The resort is not within walking distance of basically anything, so you'll need a car or book transport (available through the hotel) to go anywhere - though they cooperate with some extremely nice drivers. The only minor downside for us, was the food. Not much to choose from, a drinks-card that seemed very alcohol-focused and the taste of the food, was at least in our opinion, a bit dull. But overall we had a great stay - and would come back just for the views (and to say hi to the staff again :))

The location is most probably the best view we have experienced apart from being at the top of the alps while skiing, it’s truly amazing and the beehive rooms are extremely quaint and perfect for a 2/3 night stay. The staff were very attentive and always had a smile on their faces and nothing was a problem. The infinity pool is also a must for photographs in.

The food menu is quite extensive and if you choose to go away from the traditional Sri Lankan dishes then the quality is not up to the same standard, so stick to the local dishes. One other thing, for some reason they played The Shadows on repeat throughout the day mixed with some other music but hearing Apache 5 to 6 times a day was a bit painful 😁

This place is like heaven on earth. Situated on the edge of a cliff. It's like living above clouds. Most spectacular view. View from infinity pool is priceless. rooms are very clean. The food was delicious. Staff was very and welcoming to make your stay feel like you are home. I recommend this hotel to everyone (couples or family). I would definitely go back.

I liked every bit of my stay in this hotel. Not a single thing that I didn't like. My wife wanted to extend our stay in this place.

Wow..just wow, we were instantly captivated by the breathtaking panorama of Dream Cliff Mountain Resort. The views across southern Sri Lanka left us in complete awe - the definition of a picture-perfect location! Sr Lanka continues to marvel us and the rooms, food and staff hospitality at this resort were no exception. The entire team went above and beyond to cater to our every need. Sincere thanks to Vipula ‘Vips’ & the rest of the team for making our 20th Wedding Anniversary a truly memorable one. Our stay was nothing short of magical! Everything was amazing!

The views really give this property the ‘wow’ factor. It was wonderful being surrounded by nature - we spotted lots of beautiful birds, butterflies and palm squirrels around the hotel grounds. We loved our beehive rooms - the bathroom in particular was really nicely done and there was plenty of hot water. The food was for the most part very good, varied and reasonably priced. The staff are very welcoming, attentive and keen to please. The price point is a little steep but you’re paying for a very unique experience.

My only minor criticism is the food portion sizes - they really are massive! We felt really bad leaving so much food but we simply couldn’t manage it all and we’re a family with hearty appetites! WiFi also rather slow and inconsistent.

Beautiful location with amazing views and large private balconies to enjoy them Our individual beehive rooms were brand new - we were the first to stay in them. The beehive shape makes for some funny acoustics. Two infinity pools were beautiful if slightly chilly.

Difficult to get to and most activities such as walks and landmarks required 30 minutes to over one hour’s drive to get to, on windy slow mountain roads. Best to stay a few days. Staff could be more attentive in the restaurant.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were welcomed in such a humble and traditional Sri Lankan way. We were shown to the beautiful vantage point overlooking the landscape beyond and we were blown away. Our beehive (Alexandrite) was incredible. It was spacious, clean, contemporary and tastefully decorated. The walk in shower over pebbles is really special. For meals we opted for half board which worked out well as there isn't anywhere near the hotel to eat. Service at breakfast and dinner was exceptional with very tasty food with a wide variety. Overall the staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. They organised for a tuk tuk driver to take us to Lipton Seat and also organised a taxi driver to take us to Mirissa when we had checked out. We also needed some laundry doing which was turned around very quickly. To our delight, the hotel put on a NYE party on 31st Dec - something we were not expecting! They really pulled out all the stops with food, drink, disco lights and DJ. We got up early one morning to watch the sunrise, it was so relaxing to sit amongst the beautiful flora and fauna. The hotel is in a remote location, a 15 minute drive from the town of Haputale. We had high expectations but everything was exceptional. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our stay so special.

Everything about this place was magical. The staff were absolutely fantastic. They simply could not do enough to ensure our comfort. Each room is idyllic, cleaned beautifully & served exceptionally well. The location is idyllic. A perfect spot to unwind after landing in Sri Lanka before heading to the busier Arugam Bay. The food is exceptional. Absolutely DE-licious & the strict vegetarian in our party was catered to exceptionally well. It may be more expensive than other accommodation, but it absolutely delivers on its price. I can't wait to return one day with extended family/friends & will be recommending it far & wide. Thanks to everyone there for their hospitality! PS: the location manages to be family friendly AND extremely romantic/private for couples. No mean feat to achieve.

Spectacular views, beehives were cozy and love the style! Staff were attentive and very friendly. Food and drink prices reasonable for a more expensive resort

Swimming pools were freezing cold, not enjoyable which was a shame Also would have preferred a double bed rather than two twins put together Felt to be expensive accommodation compared to other places we’d stayed of similar standards
