Location- it was a great location closer to the city centre . Calm and peaceful , a fantastic location to relay. Staff - was extremely hospitable with a smile on the face . Particularly, Manoj was a great host and his colleague Roshan was quite nice too . Definitely, a place to recommend and our Next choice as well .

A bit of touch ups to the property would be a great change and will add value to the property .

Our stay at Cottage 42 was a short one, because we planned only one night in Nuwara Eliya. However, also if we stayed longer - this would be the place to book. The staff - Roshan & Manoj were extremely welcoming and didn‘t miss an opportunity to be there for us whenever we had a question. The room was so nice, spacious and bright. The location couldn‘t have been better, as we were able to walk to everything you could want to do in the town. There‘s also a nice pub and cafe down the street to go for a drink in the evening. All in all we can only recommend the stay at Cottage 42! :) Thanks again, Roshan & Manoj!

Lovely staff, very helpful, they booked our tuk tuk to the train station for the next day that was on time and reasonable price. Great location, close to everything. Comfortable bed and nice hot shower.

The door to the room could use a curtain as it had satin glass panels the light coming in was hard to sleep with. The shower also leaked quite badly out onto the floor. The room could definitely use a general upgrade.

Staff was definetely the most friendly I met in the whole country. Manoj and Saman made everything to make our stay better. Everything was clean and new. The location was awesome, the meals they cooked were also amazing. And they clean the room very thoroughly. We had a problem with the wifi in the first night, but after asking they fixed and it worked perfect for zoom meetings and gaming.

The bed was noisy

Thing which I liked the most was staff behaviour and cooperation along with the location of property which is close to all important locations like cafés, restaurants , bus stand etc.

I have no complaints with my stay. Things expected at the given price points were top notch.

Roshan gave us a warm welcome and made sure the aircon warmed our room. It was cold and raining when we stayed there. He also made a very nice breakfast. Nice big clean room. Very nice hot shower. Perfect distance to restaurants. I recommend you stay here.

The madrass was a little worn out.

In the center, 1 min walk to the coolest pub and restaurant. The guy who met us at the reception was so nice and they accepted a last minute booking. The room was clean and tidy, with a shared balcony. Very convenient and recommended.

Nothing actually, it was very good overall.

Really friendly staff on front desk, Room was clean,comfortable bed,lovely hot shower. It’s close to the centre of town,there is some noise from the road,but that dies down………ear buds sort that out😁

Super neat well located place. Manager was nice and got up at 5 to see me out to Horton plains. The room has heating. Nice comfy bed and best hot shower in Sri Lanka.
