Excellent service in a heritage hotel. Great hospitality by service staff and warm and welcoming ambience. Rooms were clean and neat. I was quite pleased with the ambience of the hotel room. Breakfast was excellent, especially dining in the sun room whereby there was a good balance between the old and new. This is definitely a location I will bring my family on leisure trips. It was also quite a Child-friendly location.

The room lighting was quite cozy but the desk could do with a better desk light for better visibility instead of a lamp.

Very convenient location for the train station. Nice building with good facilities, comfortable and clean room, special mention for the great shower gel and toiletries. Breakfast had a good selection of food.

As someone from more of a Southern European background, I would love to have a cappuccino or a cortado for my breakfast instead of just black coffee. First world problems really.

Really grand hotel close to the centre of town. You are greeted in a grand entrance hall by friendly, bilingual staff. The rooms are accessed by two lifts at the far end of the hotel by the rear stairwell or an elegant stairway by reception. The rooms are clean and well kept. They may not be the most modern in style but have everything you could need, and they fit in very well with the style of the building. Some rooms have a view of the river, which in winter is a lovely sight to wake up to. There is a secure car park very close by, about a 2 minute walk, and an open car park even closer. The large breakfast room is very much of its time and could be refurbished while retaining it period features. There are multiple breakfast options to suit all tastes. The orange juice and coffee were very nice. The only downside was that the scrambled eggs and bacon were lukewarm to cold. I stayed here last year and don't remember this before, so maybe it was a one-off bad luck. One other small issue was that there are a lot of lamps and not a master light switch by the bed. I found you had to go around the room, turning off about 5 light switches. It's not a big problem, but one that I've found other hotels resolve with one switch by the bed.

Very beautiful hotel with the history, near to central station. Amazing breakfast with salmon served (very rare in Sweden). I will definitely come back, convenient location and pleasant stay.

The room didn't have any proper window, it was located kind of underground with "fake" window. I would expect lower price for such room, although the room was spacious and nice.

This was our second stay and we were again not disappointed. The hotel has so much character and reflects the Grand hotel of times long past. The rooms are modern with comfy beds and marble bathrooms. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. This time, as it was Sunday, the restaurant was closed but the staff gave us a wonderful recommendation around the corner from the hotel and we enjoyed it so much. The breakfast, as we knew, left nothing to be desired.

Central location, close to everything. Very short walk to shops and restaurants. The building itself is very stylish, with large beautifully finished modern rooms and the WIFI was fantastic! Staff were lovely and friendly and made you feel very welcome.

Its the centre of the city so parking is not the easiest, but there are plenty of good value for money parking garages nearby, you just have to navigate a few one way streets to get there!

Absolutely fantastic bathroom and bed, every appliance you could need including a safe, iron, fan and stocked fridge. Agreeable room service, a smart TV and lots of pillows and blankets. The bathroom was wonderful too.

Room was a little small, but cozy and well made up.

Shower orientation in the bathroom was odd meaning a super narrow shape, shower curtain that you could not avoid, and lots of water going on the floor.

The parking situation is a mess. We paid for parking but there was no space for us when we arrived. The lot is about 2 blocks away from the hotel. The receptionist said they would refund me for the parking. We ended up parking on the street about 5 blocks from the hotel.
