Wow. What a property! And a LOT of square meters for a decent price. Beautiful location by the sea too! I would give this a 12 out of 10, but as it stands, I am forced to give it "just" a 9 :D. Just a bit more attention to detail would have counted for perfection.

No breakfast during off-season causes the property to miss shining its best assets. Some light bulbs were dead. The dustpan was really broken to the point of being unusable. I can't believe a place with such value and great attributes misses to fix such a thing. We tried to clean the kitchen using the broom but that dustpan was absolutely useless.

The lodge was very nice and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and polite. The pool was of a very nice size and very well maintained. Very nice position near the city of Gävle. The view on the sea was amazing and very romantic.

In the lodge was way too warm and there was not the possibility to cool the room. The breakfast was good and a vast variety of food but the service was a bit disorganised. Sometimes there were plates or napkins missing.

The property is pretty and the veranda with all the chairs was nice. It's right off a public path which is nice to walk. The bus stop is close and the bus is super reliable. The free breakfast is really good and having a code for the room vs a key is convenient for a group.

The view of the chemical plant and paper plant is a real downer. There are Padl tennis courts but they have no equipment to loan out to guests. They should loan out equipment to enhance the stay for guests, including pool towels. Our apartment didn't have a washer and dryer and the hotel does not offer laundry services. The walls of the apartments are thin and they do not enforce quiet hours. We were kept up all night with partying people. The rooms get hot and there are no screens so you will get some bugs.

We have been here a few years now because of the excellent pool. The apartments are generally nice and next to the lake.

Given how expensive it is, one would expect some basic essentials in the kitchen, such as salt! Some of the light bulbs were out and the frying pan was warped. Just small things but, again, for the price one would expect a bit more care. There were no staff present but we wish the restaurant would open before midsummer!

The appartments are large and comfortably outfitted. It is a great location for a relaxing time away, with plenty to do around the apartments such as mini-golf, padel and swimming.

Personnel was friendly, but we found it a bit strange that in the last week of August the reception is closed on the weekends. They still supplied is with enough info and things to do beforehand though, which was nice.

Gorgeous location, next to the sea and forest. Clean and quite a big room with plenty of sleeping spaces, fully equipped kitchen.

No sound protection, so you can hear neighbours a lot. The drying machine was not working in our room. Check-in time is late and really strict. You are not allowed to come even for 30 minutes earlier, despite the room being clean and free. But we still enjoyed a lot here)

This is a fantastic place to stay, The lodge was perfect for us as have family in Gavle, Was able to rent lodge over the Christmas period, The open plan living/cooker/dining area was large, table was big enough for 8 peopole to sit around to eat, play cards, board games, The Kitchen area has very little work top space but still has everything you need in it, Induction hob, oven, fridge, freezer. Cooked dinner most evenings for six people, The heating in the property was very good but is centrally controlled so we were unable to change any settings. At times it was too hot and we had to open front door to let the heat out, Having siad that i would prefer it to be that way around than too cold. I would love to go back in the summer to see beach and swimming pool,

Most of everything is just excellent such as stuff, rooms, equipment and so on.

However the territory of property is not in the best condition. It could be more flowers and places to seat outside. Iron stairs outside was a little bit noisy. At the same time there is no any solution to get a heavy baggage to the second floor.

Reception staff were not friendly 😑.At breakfast time my table that was empty was not cleaned inspit requesting twice to clear the table that was use by previous guest. Only 2 staff members taking care of many guests at the time of breakfast 🙁

Large comfortable apartment, very clean and new feeling. Nice location by the water. Easy bus into town, which had a lively atmosphere on a Friday night. Swimming pool was great.

No breakfast was available, unfortunately there is only breakfast available in summer season which doesn't start til midsummer.
