The hotel was perfectly located on the canal side with plenty of parking nearby and a short walk to town. Check in was easy and there were hot drinks and biscuits available. The room had everything we needed and the laundry was crisp and clean. Breakfast in the cute dining room was plentiful and with a wide choice of hot and cold items. All the staff, especially Mariah on reception at check in were all helpful and friendly.

Husband loved breakfast. I loved bed. We came to town for hearing aid appointment. We appreciated help with parking gadget for dashboard that we did not have. Warmth of owner/manager who spoke good English.

Parking, but we found a spot. Scary elevator at night. Maybe post a warning that it is outside or suggest admiring the view/sky at night.

Nice location, big and clean room, excellent breakfast. Very nice staff, we felt very welcome. They even prepared the breakfast earlier in the weekend because they knew we had to leave early :)

Airco would be a nice extra, but it was okay for now.

The staff is extremely kind and available, every need is always taken care of even outside reception hours (towels and toiletry are always available at the front desk) The breakfast offers a lot of options and it is continuously refilled during the breakfast time window.

The hotel is a little one but very nice and comfortable, the room was perfect with a lot of space, nice bathroom. Is located very close to the city centre If I'll travel again in Vänersborg I'll sleep again there. The breakfast was as well very good for all kinds of different tastes.

Location was nice

No restaurant but good options nearby. No own parking and very strict municipality on parking regulations. Had a room with shower in bath which is not preferred.

We've been here for the 6th time and it was pleasurable as always; I can only repeat: - very friendly and kind staff - inner garden (lovely to have breakfast) - terrace in front with café - shops and restaurants in walking distance - perfect starting point for many trips in the area

- a second chair in our room would have been nice - some hooks (in the bathroom, but also in the room) were useful - one (or even two) - folding - racks for suitcases would enhance the comfort (This time our room wasn't well cleaned - and during our stay nobody has come - as usual - to cleanup)

Very warm. There was a fan, but AC would've been nice. A place to sit outside after hours would've been good or a cozy group room to be able to visit outside of the rooms.
