We got a 2-bed room, with hangers for coats, a small cupboard, and a drawer. The toilets and showers are clean, but the toilets do not have a bidet spray (common in europe, i assume). The breakfast was great too. Got to taste spray cream. There is a kitchen too, if you want to use it. There is an ice hockey stadium at the place, and it was nice to watch the sport. The property is 10mins from ica maxi supermarket, where there is also a bus stop, that takes you to the visby bus station, from where you can get to the airport. There is a horse stable on the way too. If you are going to old city, there are a large number of apple and pear trees. I am surprised they didn't serve apples in the restaurant.

We enjoyed to stay in our cabin. Even if it was not too big, we had a seating area in front of the cabin and there are further public areas like a seating room, a kitchen and an outside terrace. Our cabin offered a water kettle and a fridge, we could also use a barbeque outside. The price was acceptable for Gotland, even if much more expensive than other Swedish STF houses. We were allowed to bring our dog for free, thank you very much for that. Parking lots were available in front of each cabin. The breakfast was quite good, keeping in mind that we stayed in an STF hostel and not in a 5***** hotel. There is a very good Coop superstore in walking distance to the hostel.

The daily variation of the breakfast was very low and I really did not like the taste of the scrambled eggs. The kitchen was blocked by a big family the whole evening, making it nearly impossible to prepare food or even clean dishes in parallel. We were missing a mosquito net at our window so that we could not ventilate the room withour risking to invite the Swedish Air Force during the night.

Breakfast was good but options were limited but it is almost worth the price. Rooms were small with bunk beds but ok for the price. Option to rent a bike, outdoor gym, common room, games and sports were also provided. It is around5

Cleanliness could have been better. We cleaned out room at checkout better than the cleaning staff before we checked in. Some of the lights in room were not working causing the rooms to be darker than normal. Bed linen and towels were not included .

This is a well run hostel about 2 miles from the centre of Visby. We had a comfortable room with two beds and a shower room. There was plenty of parking right outside the room. There was a separate kitchen and dining room where we prepared our own meals. The area is next to a large ice rink and is surrounded by woods. Very quiet and safe. We stayed in May outside the main season and only met one staff member. He was very helpful and friendly.

The breakfast had all that one wants, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The hostel is located in a lovely place near the forest and leads straight to the city.

Hot water shower seemed a bit broken and I could not make it work for whatever reason, but cold shower after biking all day was all that I needed.

We stayed in a dog friendly stuga. It was a very nice surprise to know that we did have a private bathroom. I didn’t know. There are two bunk beds, the space is limited but enough for us to move around. Easy access to Visby yet away from the noise. It was great to have access to breakfast buffet if we wanted to. My daughter enjoyed the playground and my doggy enjoyed having the forest right behind. Nice that dogs are welcome and that you don’t need to pay extra.

Would have been nice with a fridge with freezer and Mosquito nets in the windows. Our door lock didn’t work properly, it was a struggle to lock the cabin from the inside and outside.

Stayed at the cabin this time and I must say it's much nicer than the rooms. You have your own tiny bathroom and kitchen and the space is just a tad but fresher than the outdated rooms that I've been to before. Quite location overall.

Despite and evening rain and having kept windows open, the cabin was really hot during the best part of the night. Windows will also let in bugs which there were quite a few (ants etc, unavoidable in the Nordic summer if you ask me). The people before.us hadn't done particularly good job cleaning the floor either. Oh yeah, the beds are ridiculously squeaky!

Staff were super friendly and helpful, the place was nice, and definitely best value in Visby from what I could see.

It's far from town, but perfect biking distance. The main thing was doors slamming at all hours. In the house with the buffet (rooms 1-6 I think), the room doors should be fixed so they don't slam so loudly.

Nice place at the woods with a community feel to it. Good breakfast and well equipped shared kitchen.

For the dormitory-rooms: Walls are pretty thin- if you are a light sleeper, you might have a hard time.

if the public transportation doesn't run on certain hours (as it happened to us, as we had an early ferry ride), it's quite a stretch to walk (~1h)
