The location is great, but one should keep in mind that the hotel is located at a sketchy place since it is next to the train station, which lures marginal people occasionally. However, it did not affect the stay itself much, it was not noisy or anything. Plus, it should be noted that there is a church nearby, which has quite a cacophonous bell ringings during services. But again, I am listing this not as an issue of accommodation, but rather as something which should be relevant in a broad sense.

The only issue I had was related to the WiFi. Initially, I was placed on the fifth floor, and WiFi was non-existent there; however, since the staff was extremely friendly and hospitable, they moved me closer to the router on the third floor.

Everything was good, but after check in on system the room key card did not come out. I was looking for it everywhere. It would be good if the system says collect your room key below from the machine or put a sign so we can see where to pick it up after finish check in. The extra cards should be removed from the front desk table because it confused the guest. Nothing shows what to do if we did not receive the room key card automatically from the machine. Lucky i had idea to check the screen do check in again saying i lost my card because there was no other options to choose? Then i received second room key card. The first card did not appear. Thank you

Just a suggestions. Morning Coffee was not hot enough from the coffee machine. A bread toaster machine would be good to be there.

I enjoyed the excellent location of this hotel which is close to the transportation and close to the beautiful and picturesque city. The room was large and clean, the wifi allowed me to work a day and have video conferences. The bed was confortable. I traveled there in the spring and had therefore no issues with noise or temperature as I read in previous ratings. Indeed I was pleased with my choice.

I knew there would be no welcoming staff at the reception, but one does miss a friendly greeting after all. Even if the whole automatic checkin process is working fine.

Low budget hotel in pretty good location in Aarau. Single room , bathroom and nothing special. The breakfast was quite good and the stuff in the restaurant very kind and polite!

Very loud, starting with bad neighbours and continuing in the morning with the traffic right under the hotel. The main street of Aarau and the bus station is very busy in the morning!

The junior suite was just the right size and breakfast was very good.

We got locked out of our safe and would have preferred to have someone on sight to help us out. The people we talked to on the phone were awesome though.

The location is in the centre of the city, next to the trainstation, the old centre with restaurants, cafes, shops. Breakfast was good. The Self Check-in was very easy. Everything for a reasonable price.

The shower wall was a little smal, that's why a lot of water came on the floor.

Very central, friendly staff at breakfast and the bar at the main entrance, I needed some hot water for a tea and they served it to me without extra charge. At breakfast the lady was very welcoming and friendly. The check-in machine was working and very easy to make the check-in as I was very tired with a bad flu. Definitely recommend it for the price.

The area could be a bit noisy, but that's central and if you close the curtains, then it's all fine

The communication with the staff and their support and flexibility at the reception by phone was amazing ! Got a free room upgrade 🙏🙏😊 I addition, I could take the breakfast in the room 👍🥰

You may can improve the room with some beauty staff for the bathroom (nice smelling shampoo, shower cap .....)

Breakfast was good. Our original room hadn’t been cleaned, so I contacted the proprietor, and he upgraded us to a better room. I appreciated his willingness to rectify the problem quickly.
