The hotel is within 8-10 minutes of walking distance from the train station (easy walking, as flat) and a few minutes from the old town. The room was nice and clean, but next to a road, which was okay in terms of noise, provided the window was closed. Breakfast had a good selection of food items and good options for tea and coffee. The bathroom used environmentally friendly shampoo/soap dispensers, instead of small plastic packaging. The breakfast room has a nice atmosphere and is a pleasant place to linger a bit before starting the day. Reception staff were friendly. All in all a good place to stay the night before a day long meeting nearby.

I would prefer if plastic packaging at breakfast could be further reduced as much as practically doable.

First of all, I did not expect such quality in a hotel in Olten city. Everything is at a very decent level. Although there is no parking available, finding street parking is not a problem. The hotel is set in a building with a restaurant, offering an interesting entrance. There are many staff members, and the reception is generally pleasant but not outstanding. The room is quite spacious, well-equipped, with a large bathroom and a rather unremarkable patio, yet it gives a sense of space. Overall, it feels organized, clean, and safe, though you can sense the passage of time. Considering everything, it is an interesting and kinda a charming place worth recommending.

This is a place where the quality of the room outweighs the level of refined service, but it is absolutely sufficient for a good rating.

Bar round the corner playing extremely loud music until gone 2am - could hear from room but we got back from a match late so didn’t bother us too much. Probably would if we wanted an early night! Rooms quite small but again fine for a base. Room warm, one desk fan supplied

I used Olten as a base for two days of train excursions. This hotel is very near to the old part of town and the wooden bridge over the Aare River. It was a fifteen minute walk to the railway station. It was a forty minute train ride to Zürich/Zürich Airport, and in the other direction, a similar time to Bern. The room offered had plenty of room, was very clean and had all facilities that I required. Wifi was very good. The breakfast was of continental style, with lots of variety. All staff members encountered were friendly and very helpful. I would use this hotel again.

The hotel is at walking distance from either the main or Hammer stations, and a bus stop is nearby. This was good as I had to travel in different locations. The staff was very nice and efficient, and sorted out my request very fast (I needed to add an extra night to my original booking). The continental breakfast was adequate and enough for starting a working day.

I like the Room, but I didn't like the service. It is a Hotel, but no reception after 11pm. My train was late because of rail construction at night, so noone was there to help. I got 2 different box codes, one per email and another one by phone. The Terrace said that is closed at midnight, I went up at 11:45 pm and the waiter didn't let me have drink or sit in the bar because she wanted to close. She also didn't want to receive the payment cash because she wanted to close.

The Service od the Staff.

Great breakfast. Hotel well prepared to receive cyclists with specific bicycle parking. Children stay for free with extra bed in room.

Staff could be more welcoming. I arrived with bicycle after my family and was not proposed to leave luggage at reception or given an extra room card as my family had already two.

Simple and quick check-in process. Less than 2 minutes.

I would expect a better choice of beers on the roof top bar. Especially the choice of IPA beers. There was only one. I would like to see a better choice of nice beers.

Located in the town centre, nice breakfast and excellent coffee. It's clean and comfortable.

The pillows are big but too soft. But it's a matter of personal preference, so not actually a negative feedback.

Very good hotel, good location. Has a underground parking lot, which is always an advantage when travelling by car.

No aircon in the rooms or a mosquito net on the windows. The choice is between to be sweaty or eaten by bugs. But still will recommend it!
