We actually did not stay at this hotel but their partner hotel Arte (5 min away by foot), so it was nice that they kind of upgraded us from 3 to 4 starts and did not charge extra for that because it was not our fault (hotel Oltnerhof was closed). Review for hotel Arte: amazing place, good facilities, modern and super comfortable furniture, great bathroom with everything you need... breakfast also has a lot of things and coffee machine is good. The ladies at the reception and at the breakfast restaurant were really nice and helpful.

We actually did not stay at this hotel but their partner hotel Arte (5 min away by foot). The only problem was that no written info (email, SMS, other) was sent to us before we actually reached the hotel, during the night. Hotel Arte does not have any negative things, the place was just amazing.

At long last the breakfast start time on weekends is 0700 rather than 0800 which I've been commenting about before. If travelling around by train the station is only 4-5 minutes walk away with good services to the big cities. The self check in worked well, the room was clean, the staff were pleasant and the breakfast was adequate but could have done with some fruit salad.

The bed mattress was not very comfortable and there was only one pillow which was a bit high for my liking. One day my waste bin was not emptied and, I believe, on the same day I had to ask the staff in the breakfast room to replenish the meat tray which they should have been keeping an eye on.

location was excellent.. 4 min walk from the station. They gave me an early check in. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast was also very nice. I loved the fruit tea. Staff only knew to speak Spanish but was so helpful. we communicated through the Google translation app. I could leave my luggage after check out for a few hours without any hassle.

all was good. room size was a little small but was very manageable for a single person.

I was a little apprehensive about the self check-in but if you follow the instructions sent by the hotel and also the machine on the reception desk, things could not have been easier. l chose an Economy Single room and it turned out to be the smallest room I've ever stayed in at this hotel but you adapt. It was kept very clean. Breakfast was adequate for a three star hotel but would liked to have seen some fruit salad. The only hot item was boiled eggs. As I was doing a lot of train travel Olten station is only 3-4 minutes walk away.

Nothing really. I've stayed before and will do again. Maybe the breakfast could start a bit earlier than 0800 on a Saturday and Sunday.

Beautifully renovated rooms, comfortable beds, clean and roomy shower/bathroom. Self check-in was state of the art and easy. We didn't eat breakfast, so no news there, but the breakfast room was nicely decorated.

Nothing. It's the place to be if you're being called to Olten. A perfect blend between a warm, modern interior, functionality and making use of of the unusual space, which is the round facade.

Good selection of items for breakfast. Very comfy beds.Not too far from the railway station.

Had a few problems with the new self booking registration but a very helpful chap on the end of the phone soon sorted this out for me. Space a bit limited for your clothes.

Excellent location, five minutes' walk away from Olten station and ten minutes' walk from the city centre Room was very clean with good air conditioning and plenty of electric sockets, shower was reliable Breakfast was perfectly adequate for a budget hotel

A few more storage options in the room (shelves or a cupboard) would have been appreciated

Useful location to the train station. We were able to check in early which was great. Breakfast was a small continental selection, just what was needed.

Whilst self check is useful, it was a bit odd not to see staff anywhere when checking in.

The room was tiny but very light looking out over old roofs and a mountain in the distance. That was a very nice surprise because the booking said it looked onto an inner courtyard.

The self check in worked fine, but it's still strange if you haven't used one before- there isn't anyone there at all and you put your booking details into a computer. You get a long email telling you how to do this, but It would be really helpful to have a few basic printed instructions in English, especially for how to get in the front door and where to drop off the key.

Ease of checking in, clarity of information, lovely breakfast, comfortable bed, lovely shower. The room, although being on the street side, was quiet.

The television didn't offer programmes in a variety of languages and could benefit from adding a few English and French channels
