I picked this hotel due to the relative closeness to the A1 highway as I needed a short overnight sleep while driving across Europe. I arrived at 4 AM, yet I could check in without any issues or delays. My room was a decent one with some nice views to the nearby mountains, everything was clean and comfortable enough for an overnight stay and my dog was welcomed too. Also worth mentioning, they have a nice, huge private parking.

This is a fully automated hotel, with no human beings on site (except for the cleaning lady during morning hours). Their reception desk is remote, to be reached by phone in case of questions, and there's literally nobody at the hotel who could attend you in case you had any questions or problems. Also, while I expected to pay some extra fees as someone traveling with a dog, the hotel ended up charging 22% more than their advertised room rate (CHF 115.5 instead of CHF 94.5 - based on my experience as someone regularly traveling with dogs, a surcharge of CHF 21 is ridiculously high).

Iʼve arrived at midnight, so self checking in at any time helped me a lot. Hotel nice and new(or renovated). Breakfast also good. In addition to the breakfast cafe, there is also a small room with coffee and snacks.

Information about parking contains name of other hotel, so I was confused if I left car at the right place or not and will I get a fine? I guess it's better to add details that it's related to b-smart hotel Schönenwerd.

Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast included was great!

Duvet sheets are too small for 2 people! pillows are also not great. All streaming and pairing with TV was disabled which really sucked because there was barely any English or French channels we could watch. it’s 2023, people should be able to use the apps that come with the Smart TV! if not , don’t provide a TV if you are going to restrict everything.

Clean building, self entrance with credit card. Soft music in the lobby, room was proper. Breakfast was good. Breakfast tables outside in the sun were a really great surprise.

Pillows on bed were terrible. Traffic sounds on the front of the building, if given the choice I would rather sleep on the backside of the hotel. No airco

The room was comfortable and had black out curtains. Check in was very easy.

The noise outside from traffic was really bad, it was difficult to sleep in in the summer heat without the window a bit open. Church bells are really loud, too. A bit strange is the glass window into the bathroom.

The location was good for us, next to our party appointment.

The self check in is easy and quick, but really not hospitality, a welcome and a smile from a human is much more appreciated and important… it is the first contact between the hotel and the customer….

Nice hotel on the outskirts of Aarau. Self-check was great as I arrived very late at night during a cycling tour and was able to get in and find my room.

Good quiet location with ample parking. Loved the self service check in, very fast and efficient. Breakfast was fine. There's an outlet down the street but didn't have time to check it out.

Room slightly hot at night.

The facility is good, it is better if hotel can provide the air condition
