The hotel was 15 minutes walk from the train station in a quiet area. The room was a good size and quiet. The beds were comfortable and extra pillows were provided. The selection of food and drink at breakfast was very good. It was fairly close to the shopping area and bars and restaurants.

The shower screen over the bath was only half a metre wide and it was difficult to shower without getting water on the floor. There were no shelves or drawers to put your clothes in.

The hotel felt new and was very clean. The staff at both check-in and check-out were very friendly and helpful. The attendant at check-in let me know that parking in the street was free and where to go. The free breakfast was the best one on my 10-day trip (just stayed here 1 night). My favorite part was when I returned the electrical adapter (as I had left mine at home), I asked if the hotel sold them since it designed for all European and US/AUS connections and the attendant let me have it free of charge. That alone made me a customer of Mercure in the future.

Location in the centre, close to shops and to transport and the venue of the event that we came to Biel for. The hotel is nicely decorated. Welcoming staff. We booked a studio which was well-presented. Car park was full when we arrived but there were several parking possibilities nearby, which was convenient. Loved the breakfast spread!

The A/C noise at night. But it was not a big deal, we still slept soundly.

Clean good location breakfast is varied and good

Don't get the Kir Royal. I took one sip at the hotel bar and the taste was awful. The bar tender said he would make me another different cocktail but then charged me for it. Anyone can order another cocktail. But i couldn't drink this one. It was that bad.

Very clean property, with a nice lobby and clean rooms. Location is excellent as it is close to the city centre. Check in and check out was very smooth. Nespresso machine in the room with complimentary coffee and complimentary water. Staff is kind and helpful. Enjoyed the stay

Parking is challenging to enter and exit, beware if you have a SUV or large car. Internet is low bandwidth, not great of remote working

Perfectly cleans. Modern style. Very friendly team. Sleeping Room is very well equipped. Clean. Despite close traffic outside, no noice in the room (perfect windows). Breakfast is fantastic in terms of wide choice of food and drinks, quality and presentation. We joined breakfast 9:30 am. Still whole choice of food and drinks presented. Price is ok given the value.

Safety box (battery) did not work and even though I informed the front desk about this right away, it was not repaired during my stay (4 nigths). Tried to cool down the room with AC with no success

Very kind and helpful staff, coffee machine in the Reception area (free of charge) and very good breakfast. My single room was nicely decorated and very comfortable and functional with all the necessary facilities, although a bit dark, as the window was a bit small. The hotel is located close to the shopping area and the old town of Biel.

The property is ideally located. It’s about a 15 minute walk from the train station. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the many shops and stores in the old town. The staff are very friendly and efficient. I stayed 3 times within a 3 week span of time and was able to check in early on all occasions. The rooms are clean, a good size, and well appointed. I would definitely stay here again.
