Probably nobody stays in this hotel for fun. It's in one of the uglier cities in Switzerland so probably you have a (business) reason to be here. And then this hotel is OK (probably one of the best options in Grenchen) but not more than that. The rooms are very basic and functional. No decorations or spectacular views, but then again the shower was very large and comfortable. The building in which the hotel is housed is a rather ugly concrete seventies shopping center. The hotel is right on the main shopping street of Grenchen and there is (paid) parking very close to the hotel.

The breakfast area has the concrete charm matching the building. I did not taste the breakfast though.

If you get there at nite, it's not so easy to find. You can not notice the hotel from the street, as it is in a shopping complex

Clean room, very nicely equipped bathroom (with shower). Restaurant that is open till very late. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I should have read the description more carefully - there was no aircon in the room, which was on the top floor, basically almost like attic - it was a real sauna :( Both in the room, but even worth in the bathroom. Opening a window and using a fan did not help much, struggled to get asleep for a very long time. Also, it was an awkward surprise to get to know that breakfast is served only from 8am on Sundays... No early lunch-box was offered as a substitute..

Spacious. One of the few options in Grenchen.

Place looks sad. Very bright white lights in room. To get into the lobby you pass the smokers bar (often a blast of stinking smoke wafts out.
