The self check-in was smooth without any hassle and the cleaning services were on point. Not too far from the border, best to explore Lake Konstanz from car.

There as no mattress provided for the baby crib, it was the duvet that was kept instead of mattress, which was not good as babies need firm mattress, even a normal human cannot sleep on duvet so how can a baby sleep on just a duvet.

Excellent, efficient hotel. Polite and friendly staff. Great breakfasts. Very well placed for rail holiday. And close to St Gallen. But Bischofszell yielded unexpected interest. Notably the excellent local museum - open on Sunday afternoons, and local walks across meadows and rivers.

The hotel is on a busy road. Noise mitigation with double glazed windows was effective - and would be completely fine for majority of visitors. Those particularly sensitive to noise might want to request a room at back of hotel (not sure if these exist, but might be worth asking).

We were at a wedding party nearby and checked in at 1am. Everything went smoothly and we had a good relaxing sleep.

Having stayed at Le Lion 18 months ago, I was pleased to see that it maintains its high standards. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Although the hotel faces a road with heavy commercial traffic, the rooms are well-insulated against traffic noise. The breakfast buffet is excellent.

night lamps had to constantly be charged by myself door did not lock in the beginning, had to call first to make it work card did not work on 2nd day and I was not recognized by system anymore, had to call 2 times to make it work again. the lady on the phone was very responsive and helpful though

automatic checkin… always a lot of stress… the system rejects 3 times your Pass nr… and finally accepts it…. Noise level at 4:00 from street traffic, noise insulation from the windows is not enough….
