Location overlooking picturesque Filisur and proximity to Landwasser Viaduct. (Note ask staff best way to it. Do not follow Google maps on highway.) This was an impressive historical structure, Clean room, with comfortable bed and includes bath in bathroom. Stayed cool after heat of day. Quality restaurant for evening meals and very diverse and enjoyable breakfast. Walking distance from station complemented by local bus service. Friendly staff with a sense of humour.

Nothing, would have liked to stay longer. Was good to stay in relatively small village compared to the hustle and bustle in larger centres.

Since Filisur is actually covered by Davos ski pass (i.e. free rides to Filisur if you're wearing equipment for mountain skiing), it is possible to stay here and save couple dozen of Euro, but with some caveats. The hotel is very close to the station, but it's a hike up to the station, about 10 minutes, which is absolutely not possible with Ski Boots on (doable with snowboarding ones). The village is very pretty and very quiet. Although first train to Davos departs at 8-04 and the last train comes at about 20-00, so no night life if you decide to use this place as your base for skiing, unless you have a car. But it's only 25 minutes to Davos Platz from here! The Rinnerhorn is even closer if you're a fan of that area and it's torturous T-Bar ski lifts (hint: it does worth it ;) ). The staff is very friendly and helpful.

My room had a door to the adjacent room inside, bolted shut, but soundproofing with the neighbors was non-existing. We cou;d hear each other very clearly The village itself is quiet, but the room was not as a result ;( Reception is actually downstairs, when you enter the hotel you're greeted with the dark room which looks like it's a reception but it isn't. Just a nitpick though. No skirooms, the hotel is not positioning itself as "for skiers", which is a missed opportunity. The staff was chill about taking your snowboard into your room though.

The breakfast was great! And there is a Coop right down stair. We also ate dinner at the restaurant. It's quite good. The people at the reception is very welcoming. I love the bed and the bedding. Both were very comfortable. And the view outside our patio is so pretty. We saw stars and the moon at night right from our patio. The hot water from the shower is very comfy. Overall, we love our stay!

Our room was upgraded, without us asking. we received a room with private bathroom instead of one on the floor out on the hallway. Very thoughtful. Breakfast was lovely, homemade Zopf and smoked salmon surprised us. Unfortunately we had to ask for a coffee all the time, but that was no problem for us, just felt guilty asking all the time.

I thought it’s only 300m away or something from the filisur station but it’s a bit further, maybe because there are slopes along the way and I have my luggage with me so I had a little hard time. But I still enjoyed my stay because the place is cozy and near from my target to visit which is the landwasser viaduct. The girl from the reception even thought me how to go there efficiently. 🙂

We booked 2 single room with shared bathroom, we were upgraded to a double room with bathroom and balcony. The room is clean and spacious with tv,radio with alarm and table with chair. Bathroom is big enough with a bathtub ,toiletries and hairdryer. They have elevator if you have big luggages to carry. Near the train station but a steep climb up if you have big luggages you better walk to the next bus station and take the bus to the train station. They have grocery store just right at the entrance to the hotel.

No fridge in room

My partner and I arrived at the hotel almost around midnight (we called the hotel to let them know our arrival time beforehand) and the staff was awake waiting for us. Check in and check out was quick, the staff was friendly, the location of the place was super pretty, our room was small, but cozy room with everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and fulfilling.

There is nothing to dislike about this property.

Lovely views for the valley facing rooms. Free hourly shuttle bus to the station. Friendly and informative management.

Quality of bed linen could be better.

Breakfast was included for my stay - a good selection (though no cooked :-)
