The room (bedroom + living + kitchenette) was spacious and comfortable. We had all amenities needed, except for a microwave (would’ve been handy). It was reasonably clean, with only some kalk spots left in the bathroom. The location was good. Just a short walk from the beautiful lake. However, the walk to Murten old town was longer than I anticipated. Check in and out were easy-going, even though it was made through a big screen and a remote employee. The cleaning lady that greeted us during check out was super friendly and lovely, and offered us complimentary coffee and biscuits.

A microwave would’ve been helpful. The hotel is situated in a small industrial area, which is not flattering as the other areas around. The lack of in-person staff for check in and out makes the experience a bit cold and awkward, even though it was unproblematic.

Attentive staff, was upgraded to a more spacious comfortable room, lovely breakfast relaxed not rushed, very clean and a perfect location to my niece who lives in Murten. I have been to this hotel 2yrs ago and will definitely be returning for my 3rd visit.

TV didn't work for the whole duration of my stay. And my room wasn't cleaned on one occasion. Although that may have been an error on my part as I left do no disturbi hook on the door.

There was a nice view from the room to watch.

1.When we arrived and got our room card, the room wasn't ready yet and we had to wait a while. 2.There was only one toilet roll in the room. 3. I went out for dinner and when I returned the parking lot was full and I had to park somewhere else.

Quiet location, good parking, within walking distance of town centre. Friendly helpful staff, comfortable room, not 4 star quality but fine for somewhere to sleep for one night. Nice bathroom with Jack and Jill sinks and a big bath. Useful to have a fridge in the room

Breakfast was just OK, choice was limited and quality could have been a bit better for the room rate paid, smoked salmon was cheap and tough, sliced bread was also cheap, OJ was from concentrate, that said it was good enough to set us up on our way. Room was a bit tired, one of the drawers wouldn't stay shut

Nice location, the rooms are recently renovated. Great variety of pillows. The breakfast is nice. Price/quality is what you expect.

At the breakfast cheese is individually packed, some of it has good to date outdated.

Very friendly staff at the reception. Good location near the lake and a 10min walk to the center. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Parking in the garage or outside, even a charging station for e-cars is available. Lovely roof terrace. Good choice of breakfast.

The room smelled strongly of sweat after the cleaning staff was done… while I understand it is hard to find staff atm, this is something that can certainly be improved. The building made a lot of cracking noises ( probably the tension relief from cooling at night). It kept waking us up during the night.

Comfy beds. Lovely power shower and red hot water Really clean. Short walk to the supermarket and shops and old town Murten.

No remote control in my room for the tv.

A realy quite place, easy to reach by train after a short walk (10'), and very close the the lake and open beach (300 m) with a lovely bar and wonderful view. The breakfast room was a little bid crowed, but the staff was very friendly and after a short time, a table was prepared and ready for a relaxing and rich breakfast. The staff has realy done an excellent job and if something was missing, it was refilled within no time.

You can argue about taste of the internal design and the hotel architecture.

Locatien is perfect for to visit the hystorial city of Murat. It is just a beautiful walk of 1 km along the lakeshore. Parking in front of the hotel and a quiet surrounding.
