Central location, easy to get anywhere on foot. Excellent room service, even drinks brought up to our room. Pet friendly hotel, close by to a park for morning/evening relief. Friendly staff (especially Aristotelis, who is the nicest person we have ever met). Room cleaning twice a day, we certainly did not expect that. Valet parking, they took care of our bags and car needs. Actually nice food, hotels aren't this good usually.

The main entrance rotating door is a bit too small, and our dog was afraid of it. No allowed to dine on the terrace with our dog (even in a corner not to disturb anyone). The junior suite would benefit from having two toilets, one individual and one in the main bathroom.

The view from this hotel is beyond amazing! My stay was exceptional - the room was ready for me early, very clean and tidy. The binoculars in the room were a lovely touch. The staff were all friendly and efficient - they helped me organise a last minute private tour of the city within two hours of my arrival. Loved the lobby and had a perfectly mixed Bloody Mary at the bar there. The hotel is within easy walking distance of both the city centre and the train station. All in all a great hotel, worth every penny.

We were at Deluxe Double Room with river view. Luxurious and beautiful room, big complete bathroom with separate additional toilet. A balcony with magnificent view of the River Aare. On clear days we can even see the snow capped mountains in the background. High compliments to Bellevue team - Chiara, Tamara for your excellent service and care to both of us. You made our stay very very memorable indeed *love

So fancy! Gorgeous, ornate but still warm and welcoming. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to help with anything. The room was plush, comfy and had a beautiful bathroom. We had late night ice-cream on the terrace to enjoy the amazing views. Perfect location to access everything but away from main strip and other hotels, which felt special and secret. Highly recommend the splurge!

Cooling of the room at night in summertime should be better , but I understand the hotel is bound to local climate regulations prohibiting them to increase airconditioning power… Instead the hotel provides a quiet fan that helps a lot

The Bellevue is a 5 star hotel and it shows! Beautiful, historical, lovely, lush. Staying at the Bellevue was a big treat for us. We enjoyed it very much! Big thank you to Tamara at the front desk for being so friendly and lovely, and to the bellhops who opened the doors and gave us a warm greeting every day.

The room and the view from the balcony of the room is stunning. It is right in the heart of the city so the perfect location. The food was very good and the cocktails delicious. I liked the modern renovation while keeping the historic charm of the room. Good room size for single traveler. Definitely recommend the breakfast in the terrace outside the breakfast menu is very good and the view on the swiss alps just amazing.

I was told by the concierge the lounge is closed and will not be opened. If I was not getting curious why people were entering in this direction I would not have found out that it was actually "open" and was officially opened also a bit later. So it seems not everyone is treated equally and while some men are allowed to have cigar and drinks me as a woman I was told it was closed... Not a nice experience - it was the 10 minutes I thought I should have chosen an other hotel..

Great location, fantastic staff and beautiful building. We had a room with a fantastic view of the river passing through old Bern.

Breakfast buffet was minimal but still priced over 40+ euros per person (we passed). Room configuration was odd with shower and bidet and big sinks/counter in a completely separate room from toilet and small sink. Very expensive (roughly 750 euros a night). During our stay Bern was celebrating 175 years of their constitution and nearby office buildings plus of course this hotel was open to the public. This meant crowded lobby and lines to even get into our own hotel.

The location and the historical building and interior.

According to the room descriptions all room have bidet and we have 2 room which didn’t have . The first rooms view was looking at the wall , however they upgraded us to a Mountain View Room . We requested in the booking for a high floor and landed in the first floor, they even didn’t respond to our request

The location is fabulous. Very impressive from inside the lobby and outside the hotel. The staff of the reception in the room service were great.

The decoration of the room was very old and not in a good way. It was clean but staffing. When I first enter the room had smell of dust. Like the room wasn't ventilated for a long time.
