The staff were very friendly, the room was spotless and very spacious. Excellent location in the old town. The mattresses were very comfortable. Bern was very hot when we visited (31C), the room was very warm, especially as it was the loft suite, however the hotel had provided us with 3 fans, which helped immensely. As we were visiting friends the next day and there was no fridge in the room, the hotel happily allowed us to store a bottle of wine in their fridge overnight.

The pillows were not the best. The two single beds had been pushed up next to each other to make a double, but there was a gap in the middle and because the floor was so clean and polished (which was good obviously), they kept separating.

The room, beds, and ensuite bath were very clean and comfortable, and the hotel is in a great location with easy access to trams. It has a lift, and we received the thoughtful gifts of fruit and bottled water upon arrival. When I accidentally left something behind that I wanted to get back, a staff member worked with me and mailed it back to me in my country. A value-oriented but excellent hotel with helpful staff!

It wasn't a problem for my stay, but because staff is on duty only until 6 pm, it's best to plan ahead if you need anything or have any questions.

Location on the main street was excellent, close to all the points of interest. Front desk staff was very helpful. Room was a good size and as advertised. Having an elevator is always a plus !

It was warm during our trip. We were aware there was no air conditioning but the fan provided did very little to move air and the room was very warm. We left the windows open for air movement and to cool off in the evening but given on the main street, there was a lot of traffic/delivery noise. Definitely not an issue with the windows closed.

Amazing location in the heart of old town Bern. Received very warm welcome. We arrived before room was ready but were able to leave our bags and explore the city and returned to find they had already taken them to the room for us. Nice welcome note in the room with fresh fruit and bottled water. Hotel has 5 floors. The lift only runs to the 4th floor so if you have an issue with stairs, request a room not on 5th floor. This hotel has everything we needed in the perfect location (right across from bus stop, 10 min bus ride to train station) to explore the old town. Very near the bear park, too. Friendly, welcoming staff. Very happy stay in Bern!

Location was great. The hotel was just beside a bus stop where u can either take a bus or tram. Lots of food and shops located around as well. The staff was friendly as well and they were nice enough to answer any questions i had regarding the attractions in Switzerland. The breakfast was basic. I think Switzerland is just expensive in general but this hotel was worth it compared to other hotels i searched for. Recommend !

The lift is limited to certain floors. There is only one floor (5th floor I’m not wrong) that you need to climb the stairs so keep that in mind.

Basically almost everything. 1. It is a quiet place. 2. It has a good connection to the train station. 3. The rooms are large. 4. The staff is very kind and professional. 5. There many good restaurants and bars around. A good sound isolation from the street when windows are closed. I liked to stay there and will be happy to book a room next time.

It was too hot in the room. I switched off heating, and next night it was on again, and I have noticed it too late. This affected my sleep. I still do not understand why they insist on heating the room. I do not have any other complaints.

Everything was outstanding. The location is very central and near all the sites we wanted to visit, maybe slightly far from the station ( 14 minutes walk ) but not a lot to do by the station anyhow! The reception staff were extremely helpful and nice, all our requests were met immediately and the room was big enough for two people and exceptionally clean and organised! I don't think we could have made better choice, given that the price was also very suitable. Will definitely come back again!

Nothing really. But maybe something to work on is the check in time. We requested to check in around 12 and came after 1 pm, to find out we still need to wait. It was not a problem really we had a walk and came back again to find our luggage in our room, but given that check out is maximum at 11 and that they accepted out request this small part can be improved for sure :)

Can’t beat this location! It’s right off the main street and very close to a tram stop. The lady at the front desk was very kind and sweet, and we were within walking distance or bus distance of everything we wanted to see! It was also very comfy and perfect for three people — we really enjoyed taking a nice hot bath after a long day in the big bath we had.

We were on the very top floor and I bumped my head once or twice on the slanted roof which became quite low (for reference, I am 5 foot 1 inch) but that was mostly my fault! If you’re tall probably not the specific room for you.

Room was super cozy, ample and well decorated. The WiFi is strong for video calls and such. There was a complementary coffee machine that I loved. Beyond that, the bathroom was well stocked, great shower. Beds are comfortable. The reception staff is kind and helpful, and the interior is quite pretty as well. I thought it was a great option considering the cost and value you get for it. I would stay here again! Loved Bern, what a city.

Location was super strong, but it still involves a short 5-10 minute uphill walk to get to the very city center. It's a really small detail, as it is still right in the middle of the main street with awesome sights nearby. I recommend taking in the view of the river from the bridge nearby. Room didn't have an amazing view, but had plenty of light come through.
