Everything about this hotel was what we were looking for. Great location; walking distance to the old town but a local cute quiet neighborhood. Wonderful staff. Andreas was very helpful with the suggestion and the check in process was quite smooth. I had booked the hotel based on online reviews and later learned that the hotel was highlighted by Rick Steve in his travel book; a source that I whole heartedly trust. The breakfast also had good options.

The hotel is located in a quiet area of Bern, about 15-20 minutes from the old town. They provide a free card that can be used for public transportation The hotel staff was invaluable, they provided free parking and their breakfast is magnificent.

Superb hotel in a quiet, hip, civilised corner of Bern a manageable walk North of Bern's beautiful centre. Live your Swiss dreams here. I was checked-in by the owner who explained the trams and the free passes, and patiently and in perfect English. My room was big and clean. Perfect.

The hotel is located like 15-20 minutes from the city center. It's a nice walk but the hotel also gives you the public transport pass for your stay there is a tram line just behind the hotel that you can take to arrive at the center. The car park was also a very big advantage as in Switzerland it's very difficult to find a parking space. The breakfast was also good and also added value to our stay in the hotel.

Close to downtown but avoids the street noise. Free transportation pass for all our stay. Free on site parking and includes excellent high quality breakfast! Good Wife.

Very clean , nice hotel. Perfect calm location with nice restaurant and coffe place close by. Very close to city center and the Rose Garden. Room was also very nice, clean and calm. The staff was also super friendly. Even our dog had very good time in this hotel. Thank you and definitely would stay again!

This is an excellent hotel . The staff were very helpful . Excellent quality of accommodation , extremely decently done .

Maybe the breakfast could have been with more options .. an added bread toaster should be there and some more options on the eggs .

The staff was exeptional and we felt very welcomed. The location is great and the rooms modern. Very much enjoyed our stay.

The location of the hotel is just outside the hustle of the city and an easy walk to the old town. There's also easily accessible public transportation. The hotel is family owned and has an interesting history, which one of the owners shared with us. Our room was ground floor with a little patio, which was very pleasant. Beds were comfy and bathroom was adequate.
